โI always have a great time at the Orchard Park. This is a small hotel with just 8 rooms but there is a very personal touch and all the staff are very friendly and eager to help. This includes taking your suitcase up the grand staircase (since there is no lift). You do need to book early. And if possible they will always assign you a room of your choice. My personal favourite is room 2 for the superb views it affords up and down Fenwick Road and Maryville Avenue.โ
โThe place is absolutely one of cleanest place we have ever traveled; I would rate it 10/10; the owner is very friendly and helpful; breakfast was fantastic and well organized. Very quiet neighbourhood and easy access to great dinning place and Glasgow city centre. The only small downside would be very weak WIFI if you are travelling for leisure then who-care but if need to do business then you will have Challenge! โ
โThe hotelโs location was ideal for our trip. We walked to the City Chamber, Bus Station, and to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum and to Hunterian Art Gallery. The room was comfortable and quiet. We definitely would recommend it. โ
โCheck-in was slow (over 20 minutes). No apology for the wait from an indifferent receptionist. Fortunately, every other staff member was very polite, friendly and helpful. Food was good and accommodation comfortable โ
