"I am a solo female traveller. Zanzibar House is an excellent property in so many ways. The staff are friendly and helpful. The grounds are a delight to be in, with lots of comfortable places to sit and read or contemplate the beauty of the area. I did not use the pool and I am sure it would be lovely. "The Mora is a beautiful property. It’s very peaceful and aesthetically pleasing!! The rooms are extremely clean and large. The staff is very welcoming and engaging. Welcome snacks and a drink were provided on arrival. A bit of honesty for other readers considering staying here: I wasn’t a fan of the buffet food, mostly Indian. The other restaurants are by reservation only and the steak house was fully booked my entire stay. So I would advise to book ahead. And the resort is over an hour from Stonetown however, I still thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would return!"
