Room was very clean, and the front desk service was very kind and accommodating. I would only feel comfortable staying solo, as opposed to having my family stay. Another guest adjacent to my room was yelling and cursing all night, possibly on drugs of some kind, and the surrounding night-life was questionable. However, for the price and quality of the room my solo experience was fine.
This was a basic hotel room, but very clean with a remarkably comfortable bed. If you don’t need frills, it’s perfect, and at literally half the price of “fancier” hotels (especially when all the taxes and fees are tacked on). We’ll be back the next time we stay in Portland.

property is clean, just a little bit noisy cuz it’s close train railway and pub house
Rooms are very clean, and the owner stays on topof maintenance and customer needs. Yellow line Max is 5 minute walk, The Alibi tiki bar is across the street, cannabis dispensary next door and a Plaid Pantry is next to the Max line. No complaints here, will be back soon.

It was a very quiet area not a lot of walkable food options. The chairs needed a deep cleaning or need to be replaced. But overall, decent for the price.

hotel did not have my reservation but was accommodating to getting me a room. room was nice and clean except the bedding has some light stains.
Great location and great service. It’s so frustrating for a business when people don’t act correctly and honestly they should have to pay for my stay. My neighbors kept having fights slamming doors etc. It it was any other time I’d have gone to management about it. Otherwise it was good.
Location was great. Safety for my self, my guest and my vehicle was a concern. Was informed by manager that it was a non-smoking facility yet upon entering the room it was very apparent that the previous tenant had not adhered to this policy. The wall in the bathroom had what appeared to be dried mucous. There was long hair in the drain of the shower.
For the price, this was honestly nicer than I thought. The bed was actually super comfy, no bugs. the bathroom was clean, and the heater worked well. The tv timed out from some parental control thing my second night but I switched to my device so it was fine. If you’re new to Portland, there are sketchy people everywhere, and you can’t avoid it. However this place is minimal and is in a nice neighborhood. Across the street is a great place called the alibi that anyone would love (not an ad I promise). There’s a nice neighborhood to walk and a green patch behind the building. The cleaning lady is nice, as are the hosts. The only suggestion I have is finding a way to utilize a digital pay option for the washer and dryer, or a change machine. Awesome to have one though! I’ll be returning for sure.

It was an alright motel for the price. It was right across the street from a really cool Tiki bar which was a huge plus. And it was about a 10-15 min walk from another street that had a bunch of restaurants and bars in a nice area and that was really cool. A couple things about the room though that were not the greatest. When I started to run the water for the shower, it was a brown color. Wouldn't go away unless I turned it off and then back on again to cold water and then rotate to hot. This was super weird. The bathtub/shower is really cramped. You will likely hit your elbows on the wall while washing. The toilet was awkwardly close to the wall in front of it. If you are a tall or overweight person, it's highly unlikely you will not fit. If you bend forward you hit your head on the wall. It so cramped and strange. Also the outlet in the desk I had did not work.
