"Quiet hotel, nice pool area, beach area with beds. Staff are excellent especially yje ones who work the pool bar area.
Not a lot to do if your looking for entertainment in the evenings, bar normally shut by midnight, but your in Porto Cristo, its quiet"
"Excellent facilities and a very thorough and thoughtful refurbishment. Great quality live music nightly, pool towels available and fridge and TV in room. 3 big pools, and lovely spa facilities including indoor pool and jacuzzis. Cleaning in the room a little light some days, but was OK. Only suggested improvement would be coffee facilities in the room."
"Had a fantastic 4 nights! The staff were very attentive and very friendly.
Only criticisms we could pick was the water in the room was not replenished, no tea or coffee making facilities in the room and used glasses/cups brought to the room were not cleared away daily.
Overall though lovely hotel, picturesque, great location, good food, roof top bar sets up a nice start or end to the evening and perfect for a couples getaway!!
Thankyou to all at Sol I Vida"
"We really enjoyed our stay at the Gran Bahia. We couldn't have wanted a better room, right on the sea front with magnificent views. Breakfast was included in our stay and was amazing, all fresh and loads of choice. We chose to have evening buffet a couple of times. Again, the food was excellent and extremely good value for money.
I would recommend this hotel overall but there are a few negatives.
1) the pool is far too small for the size of the hotel. Fortunately, we had a car so went seeking beautiful beaches.
2) The area of the beach opposite the hotel is OK but not the best, however, if you walk along the front to the end of the strip, the beach gets much better near the dunes.
3) Parking is on the streets and not always easy to find a space. I can imagine it being a nightmare in main season.
4) The room was made up daily but never properly cleaned. Tea and coffee was never replaced and dirty glasses were just left for us to keep using the whole of our 11 night stay. However, towels were changed daily regardless of if we hung them up or left on the floor as per the instructions."
"Lovely adults only hotel with two pools.
Across the road from the beach and lots of local restaurants and bars and shops! Great sea view from our room, amazing to wake up to the sound of the waves.
I would highly recommend renting electric bikes and exploring the local area, lots of bike lanes for safe travel.
We used the front infinity pool mostly as the beds were so comfortable (no charge for these). Would also recommend going all inclusive - well worth the money when you think of drinks and food. The cocktails included were not all fantastic but lots to try, and beers and wines available too. La Boomba was a favourite for a night cap!
Inclusive food was varied and more than enough. The hotel also had two nights of entertainment which was pleasant as unexpected. Would be better if they informed us of this when we arrived, as some people missed out as they were unaware.
We did venture out once during our week stay and enjoyed a local steak.
Will be returning soon!"
"A nice hotel, in a great location not too far of a walk into the centre. We went on a couples trip, adult pool does get busy so you do need to get there before it opens to queue. Guests were offered a drink on check in (I saw on the day of check out) we were not offered any drink on check in. Rooms do not have irons and there wasn’t any available from reception for a few days.
Found some of the staff to be abit rude"
"L’emplacement, le personnel très attentionné, la piscine entouré de végétation et palmier, déco simple et de bon goût, buffet matin et soir excellent, grande terrasse. Sauna et bain un plus !"
