We stayed at the beautiful TURIM Oporto hotel in early November of 2025. This hotel was very conveniently located within walking distance of most major sites in Porto. The breakfast buffet was fabulous, with the best assortment of food of any place I have ever stayed. The rooms were spotless. We especially appreciated the second cleaning check in the evening when they replenished any supplies and towels that we needed.

From Turim Oporto Hotel, you can walk to Livraria Lello (Harry Potter Book Store), Market Bolhao and all the restaurants nearby. A short taxi ride takes you to Dom Luís I Bridge, which is a double-deck metal arch bridge that spans the river Douro between the cities of Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia. Note: Sometimes traffic can increase the time it takes to cover short distances in a taxi. Give yourselves plenty of time to avoid missing tour schedules.

The hotel location is excellent, close to many landmarks, staff is amicable and very professional, large lobby and great bar right in the back of the lobby. The rooms are spacious and modern including the bathrooms. Very close to restaurants. Right across there is great cafe called Metro, very convenient especially for early tours.
