The grounds, room, the bar and the spa were all top notch. Service in the restaurant and bar was very good and still friendly. Breakfast was a great spread every morning. We really enjoyed the location and proximity to the beach, restaurants and the city. We will absolutely be back!

Excellent service, food and location. The breakfast was the best I have had in any hotel. The hotel was very stylish and looked well maintained. The beach is just across the road from the property and there are lots of small bars and restaurants along the sea front. Perfect winter stay as there are few people around but everything is open.

Giovanni in particular was amazing making many restaurant and excursion recommendations that we loved. Hotel was clean and overall excellent. The one downside was in the pool area. Indoor pool with very limited sun loungers. Food at the main restaurant was excellent.

Not a 5 star hotel!!! Spa area is in basement and very cramped. Pool area and bedroom/bathrooms that have all marble floors are a big danger, you need to constantly be careful not to slip . Patrons were permitted to use phones in dining room which made it unpleasant. Location across from the ocean is beautiful for walks but quite far from city. On a positive note the food at Fleur de Lis is terrific.

Breakfast staff disappointing

It was a lovely hotel. Breakfast was nice, except the plastic in the pineapple. The staff seemed to ignore this even when I spoke with the waitress and Manager. The waitress at breakfast came across very harsh, not very enjoyable at all. Seemed to wait a while for a pot of tea, when my husband ordered a latte and received 5 minutes before me hummm. The Michelin star restaurant was super and the team really bought through this great experience, maybe something the breakfast team need to learn from.

The room was beautiful. The staff were friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The bar could make any drink. There is also a Michelin star restaurant and the event we attended was spectacular!
