"The overall tone of the hotel was excellent. The pool was a real bonus especially with their 24 hour plan. Breakfast was the only bummer and it was what you would expect for a hotel breakfast just not 5 star. Staff was pleasant and for the most part helpful although we had a little snafu about our rooms and one of the desk clerks tried to check in someone else while we were still in the room. The room was clean and well appointed but no roll in shower for handicap and no shower bench. We made it work"

"Imagine my surprise to find out they were closing down this hotel the very next day! It was a beautiful location, a very nice room, but it is no more. My only disappointment was that I was looking forward to the pool and hot tub but they were completely drained in preparation to the shutdown. I wish that hotel.com had informed me of this impending shutdown. It’s hard to imagine that there isn’t some form of communication between hotel.com and the businesses they work with. Nice hotel but a sad and frustrating situation."
