โ Marta and Ikar were the most perfect and accommodating hosts for this historic and scenic B&B hotel. As owner/operators they made sure we were comfortable and catered too. Local jams and honey and and extra personal touches made this stay worthwhile. Slightly remote but close enough for a 15 minute drive into Tondela. We would definitely stay here again. โ
โThis was the best hotel in our Europe tour. Villagge where hotel is, is lovely, small village in the middle of mountains. Room had it's oen kitchen so I could made my own breakfast, which was good cause breakfast was served starting 9.00 am .. I wake up at 4.30 so I couldn't wait that long to get something to eat. ๐ I will come here again.. loved it!โ
โIn all honesty, this is one of the best hotels we have stayed at; When it comes to peace, quiet, calmness and comfort. It has this soft, dark-ish style with low lights. The spa was excellent, and the dinner was amazing. The price you pay for the quality of the food is very, very good. The breakfast was also outstanding. We have nothing negative to say about this hotel, and we recommend it 100%.โ
โSolar da Capela is very clean hospitable family hotel. They went out of their way to assist. We came to Sao Padro de Sul mainly for Thermal pools. We went to many places where we enjoyed thermal pools for a whole day, but this place only allow one hour at high price. This kills small hotel business. For the hotel , we will stay again, highly recomended. โ

โParking was just a hassle when we first arrived. Small tight parking lot area. Had to wait for someone to check out in order to have get a parking spot. Staff was very friendly and helpful โ
