This hotel is conveniently located a block away from a busy tram stop. It is also very walkable to the old part of Prague. It was nice having a good breakfast every morning. The room was comfortable but the only downside is the odd shower/tub. The tub is very high up (so it's a bit precarious) and does not have a full shower door (so water goes all over the place).

Great location, service, breakfast, surroundings. Our one complaint is when our son joined us at the last minute and we added him to the room reservation, the extra rollout bed was very expensive (not allowed to write price), and he is tall, so the bed was not at all comfortable. The regular bed was very comfortable. Make sure you book accordingly, and don't add a bed, unless it's for a small child.

We were so exhausted from our travels after a mix-up with our sleeper car travelling from Zurich, we were utterly delighted by the level of customer service we got at Hotel Klarov. They were accommodating and let us check in a bit early. The room was generously appointed, with a fridge, coffee maker, bathrobe and slippers, even a little blanket to hang out on the couch. I really appreciated how whoever designed the rooms, worked in harmony with the historical architecture and added a contemporary, playful but warm feeling with color, texture, and music references. The staff were so helpful even on our check out day, helping us figure out how to use public transportation. The breakfast was hearty and lovingly laid out, with hot and cold options. We were truly rejuvenated by our stay here, the attention to detail was evident. Thank you!

Our experience was pretty close to perfect. We loved the convenient location. The breakfast was beyond expectations. It was really hot when we were in Prague (85 F) and we appreciated the air conditioning. The hotel is not a good choice for anyone who cannot handle stairs. Even though there is an elevator, you will still have a flight of stairs between the elevator and your room.

The Hotel Klarov went above and beyond. We had a serious issue arise and they were very helpful. The hotel was beautiful and the breakfast was more than generous.

Great service from the hotel staff and Daniel in particular. Fantastic location with immediate proximity to Metro and Tram lines, though we walked almost everywhere. Rooms very clean, comfortable and with character - we stayed in the Pink Floyd suite. We would definitely stay here again.

This beautiful hotel is located just outside the Old Town of Prague, within walking distance of all the main sites. For a downtown city hotel, it was very reasonably priced, offering a delicious buffet breakfast, and a huge room with a view of the Prague Castle, and a well-stocked mini-bar.

This is a clean comfortable hotel in a very good location for touring. Parking is easy. Breakfast is good. The room was spacious with good AC and a refrigerator.

Great Staff, Hotel and Location
Whilst the Hotel is in a perfect location, rooms are great and spacious, and the breakfast choice was vast, a Hotel is only as good as it's staff. Anton and Daniel were extremely helpful at all times and nothing was too much for them in assisting you. I will be back!

We really appreciated the location of the hotel. It was very easy to walk everywhere and very close to the palace. The subway, tram and bus stops were very close yet far away enough so you don't hear any road noise. The hotel staff contacted us before arriving to check if we needed anything and offered to pre order a taxi. We accepted and the driver was waiting for us and the tab was put on our account which was very easy. Bee highly recommend this hotel.

We were greeted with a lovely smile and given our room at 9am, despite the fact that check in was not until 3. The rooms were clean, comfortabe bed, breakfast was amazing, and the location was perfect. We had to leave early the last day and they even packed us a breakfast to go. We will definitely stay here again if we return to prague.

Very nice hotel
The Klarov is a very nice hotel in a very good location in Prague. It is great for visiting the castle and especially for taking trams and trolleys around town. The staff is very kind and professional. The rooms are excellent-very comfortable. The issues I had were 2. One, there are no channels other than news channels for English TV watchers. Nothing other than CNN, BBC and Al-J. This is common in hotels in Prague generally, but it gets old. Why do Russians and Germans have options for movies and we do not? Also, when I get the bill, the room, reserved though Expedia has a large tax bill associated with it. The hotel claimed that this tax get charged on top of the Expedia rate. So watch out for this. it was over $150 for a three night stay or $50 extra a night.

Nice place to stay in Prague
This hotel is very nice place to stay in Prague. The famous sites such as castle, place, cathedral and old town are in walking distances. Especially, the night view from the room is really fantastic. I will stay again in this hotel next time.

Enjoyed staying in this hotel. Very clean, nice room, good transport links. Be aware Expedia doesn't make payment clear - you pay at hotel in Euros or local currency. Or can pay hotel by bank transfer in euros in advance. But with exchange rate price may be more than what Expedia says in £s on website. But a great hotel to stay at - recommend it.

Prague get away
located near everything and inexpensive compared to others hotels (2×). Only bad was street noise, but excellent view of castle and bridge.

We stayed in a junior suite. The room was spacious and comfortable. It included a full kitchen with some dinnerware and pots, kettle and pod-style coffee maker (charge for the coffee). Strangely, there was no cutlery. We didn't need it, so we did not mention it. Given their very helpful attitude, I expect they would have supplied cutlery if requested. They also arranged transportation through a local service which was very reliable. We were warned against trusting taxis in this city.

This was a great location being a short stroll to castle and Charles bridge and general top spots in Prague. We loved the location. The hotel has a lift but we chose the stairs which there were plenty of.Helpful enough receptionist who spoke good English. We would go back there as the location is so handy.
