All the equipment and conditions you may see in advance in room review on Expedia.com when making reservation. You may also use filters and choose all room facilities and other options, that are important for you, to have everything you need for sure. But maybe in this case you will have to pay other, appropriate price for accommodation.

Dear Michelle, you may see all the equipment and furniture in the review of the hotel. There is no air conditioner in review. If it is important for You, there is a possibility to write request or question to the hotel and find out all the details in advance. If You don't like a room You may also ask receptionist to change it, if possible. You were several times at reception as You did not know, where Your event is, how to order uber or taxi, how to use public transport, how to go just straight up the hill etc. When You came back in the late evening, You told the receptionist that Your plans have changed, nothing about the room. If You can't orient and organize your trip, can't look through the hotels reviews and expect immideate taxi and other services that are not listed on hotel's page, probably it is better to book 4/5-star hotel in the city center for the appropriate price to be able to get anything You may expect.
