"Spacious room for 2, awesome water pressure, and amazing breakfast and dinner. Bedroom outlets a bit far from bed but resolvable with long cords. Parking is limited and thus parking may be on street. Hotel requires a car as it is not with walking distance to town. Overall it’s a good hotel."

"We loved staying at Belmar and highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Even though our unit had a kitchen, it was nice to eat at the buffet and we had beautiful views of the beach in the distance. The Belmar is a beautiful resort with several outdoor pools that are not heated and a heated indoor pool and hot tub. We were there at beginning of April and were able to swim in the cold outdoor pools but we were the only ones who could tolerate the cold. We swam in the indoor pool also which was nice. And we used the hot tubs which were nice but not crazy hot. I would guess 90 degrees. The hot tub is indoors and for adults and kids 16 years and older. No younger kids allowed. Our kids were old enough so it worked out well for us because the hot tub wasn't busy. Early April is a shoulder season so the resort was busy but the surrounding areas were quieter and the ocean was cold but people including my kids still swam in the ocean. There is a 5 minute walk down to the beach from the resort. The beach is a public beach with parking so others can drive there. I prefer it that way. And there were no chairs by the beach, not even ones you could rent. But maybe that's because it was not summer yet. We loved Lagos and parking was relatively easy but might be busier in the summer. April is a great time for hiking and we did two of the cliffside hikes and loved them."

"We loved this place! Very professional and helpful staff; clean room and great view; wonderful buffet breakfast with many tasty options; pool was lovely (but cold). Many beautiful walking paths nearby and nice walk into old town. Felt safe in the area. Spectacular experience!!"

"We had booked trough Hotels.com. We had wished at a room at one of the upper floors but were given 112 at ground floor. We looked unhappy and were given 204 at 1. upper floor. Super, and thanks. The hotel is super clean. The room with balcony and with view over the pool is super. The location is about 2 km from the down-town and some uphill. Bus no.2 every 1 hour. Fine for a walk to the cliffs/caves ca 5 km round walk is fine. L-a-r-g-e svimming pool. Fine green grass around and childrens playground. Some noise during the day from garden machines. Breakfast is fine with fruit, vegetables youghurt, oats. The bread we only tried once. It is booring. To add all together: At this time of the year a fine place if you have good legs or a car."

"This property was nice. Needs a significant facelift. Property was clean, but out dated. Breakfast buffet was great, as was Italian restaurant. Gym needs complete redo, pools need cosmetic update. Good location and close to downtown and incredible hike. "
