We took the east side. Experienced dirt road with many potholes and washboard. Was not pleasant on our car, would be fine in jeep or four-wheel drive with high axles. The Lake itself has picnic tables, sand, playground, great day for a family.
Beautiful and peaceful, during the off season (October).
