Kamal and his wife are sweet, lovely hosts, eager to please and accommodate their guests. Upon arrival, the house is unassuming, nothing more than an ordinary suburban home. But we were quickly greeted and shown to their basement, which is beautifully modified to accommodate their B&B guests. There are 2 guests rooms, a kitchen, a common living room with a TV, a common eating area as well as an exercise room. The basement is cool, quiet and modern.
BUT... We were not staying there. We were escorted to the home's master bedroom, which has been made into another guest room. Sure, the room has a private bathroom, but it is straight out of the 70s and needs updating.
Kamal is a chef, so the breakfasts were great! He also can recommend many great places to eat in town, for the foodies' pleasure!
