I emailed to inform them I was vegan. My first breakfast nothing for me. Improved on my 2nd breakfast. I would say all the food was average.

The hotel is amazing 10/10.Clean, modern and very nice amenities 10/10. The staff hospitality 10/10. The girls were very helpful and didn’t make us feel uncomfortable not one time. They were willing to help and make our stay as smooth as possible every step of the way. The hotel gesture for my friend’s birthday was too sweet. Thank you ladies, you made our first trip to Cyprus a success!

Beautiful hotel, but let down by staff!

I think the hotel is beautiful! I was upgraded on arrival, and absolutely loved my room and balcony. It was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The only downside to this hotel is the staff. The bar staff are not particularly warm and friendly – the service is slow and there is no sense of urgency. Communication with the cleaning staff also proved difficult.

Good points: Hotel was stunning Dining options locally were perfect. Bad points: Coffee machine in the room didnt work. Jacuzzi was overflowing and not turned on. Cleanliness wasnt the best. Some stains on bed frame.

Hotel review

Beautiful hotel, had a room upgrade which was appreciated. Lacked info about services. Spa online prices not updated therefore today’s prices are not reflected (massive increases). Breakfast nice, staff attentive. Large shower head not working neither was the coffee machine, no ordinary black tea left in the room on either day. Pool area lovely and great location in Pernera.

Location of the hotel was good for us. Staff in restaurant polite. Receptionist on arrival was abrupt. Despite having the ‘make up room’ sign on our door, housekeeping did not come to the room until after I went to reception on the third day and asked for them to sort it out. We were trying to get ready for a special occasion and towels etc needed changing as they hadn’t been done since our arrival. When housekeeping did the room it was excellent and she was apologetic. A special meal had been booked for the evening celebration. This food was good but was spoilt by being served on cold plates.

Enjoyed but could be better

We stayed one night at the hotel. I really enjoyed the check in process with some Prosecco, breakfast was great, pool area is very good. However I was very frustrated when I get in my room. I was told my room was upgraded but literally it just does have a lot of empty space and nothing else. The room was not clean, all cupboards were covered in and out with dust. General premises like the stairs were also very dirty. Overall was good. But I don’t think the season summer price is really fair.

It is an OK hotel, not 5 stars

Out of season and it was very quiet, which was very nice. The Spa area was not very clean, there was not even a bottle of water for those who were using sauna, this is very poor. There was mould on some of the loungers.. The loungers did not have any cover, there was therefore no option to relax anywhere after sauna, I simply do not understand it. You sell your rooms but because it is not very busy you simply do not even care about those who come to stay. Also, they knew we were a couple but gave us two separate beds joint together.. Why? The bathroom was so tiny, that to be able to open the bathroom door from the inside we had to step into the shower.. Definitely not a 5 stars. For that price unnacceptable.

Alles ist neu, äußerst gepflegt und sauber. Sehr stilvoll. Freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Pool lädt zum Entspannen ein und ist nicht zu trubelig. Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet, viele selbstgemachte/liebevoll angerichtete Speisen. Strand in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen. Bei Meerblick sieht man den 1. Sonnenaufgang Europas.

Late check-in

The check-in is at 2pm and we arrived at 1:30pm. The receptionist told us to wait until 2pm! No problem, we waited until 2pm. Until that time a lot of people was there on the reception table waiting for their check-in. The lady there told us to wait just 10 minutes, but in the end we waited 50minutes more! The people there got angry. The excuse of the ladies on the reception was that there were rooms with late check-out and there were not clean available rooms. Actually this is not an excuse!!!! The hotel knows their schedule!! They had to manage it in order to have clean rooms for the clients!! The lobby was full of people!! Over 30 people waiting! We arrived early in order to go to the beach early and they kept us there until 3pm! Half of the day was gone! Overall the hotel was good but we had this bad experience on the beginning!!

The hotel was really good. The staff was polite and always helpful. Rooms very clean, modern and cosy. The best of all was their breakfast (huge variety and delicious)

Ok place off season

After reading the mixed reviews, I have decided to give it a try. But overall experience wasn't a great comparing to other hotels I have stayed. Positive things: 1. The hotel interior really nice 2. The room and the view from the room is amazing (we booked sea view room and also had an upgrade) 3. Fresh orange juice during breakfast 4. Staff in the restaurant Negative things: 1. Horrible check in. Staff doesn't understand what are they doing there :) The room we have booked seemed unavailable and we had to wait for another room and check in was at 5 PM instead of 2 PM. The upgrade is appreciated though even after 3 hours waiting. 2. The food during lunch not tasty. And the prosecco was poured in a dirty glass with lipstic - seriously? 3. To get the towels for the pool you have to leave 40 euro deposit. The towels were old and full of stains. Who with the clear mind would decide to steal them? The towels in such condition I usually throw at home. 4. Breakfast had variety but food was not tasty. I have with what to compare. 5. The worst thing of all was that the hotel is located near the venue where the weddings, concerts and parties take place. It was a wedding when we stayed and the live music played almost until 3 AM in the morning. Sleeping was not possible. We came back home not relaxed but very tired. If you want have a relaxing, quiet holidays then it is not your place.
