It is a very clean resort in a beautiful neighborhood. Our room was updated and comfortable. In terms of the location, it is possible to walk to the city center within 25 min but the way back is uphill. The shuttle runs only during the day. One way taxi service is around 6 euros. We had the half board meal option. There was one buffet restaurant for all of the meals. While there was a lot of selection, the food is bland and repetitive every day. It is the same every day with minor variations. If you are staying for many days, it is better not to take the dinner. The hotel caters to mature guests. There wasn’t any music at the pool or any activities. The evening entertainment was low key. Overall, it was a nice quiet hotel in peaceful surroundings away from the center.

Nice hotel with a good buffet

All in all it was great. Not ideal was that the mattress was pretty worn out, something I def. would not expect from a 4* star hotel. Als were the bed sheets replaced even though we did not put the card on the bed where it says we will decide...only if we put the card on the bed the sheets will be replaced. Seems like green washing if not sticking to their sustainability rules... The buffet is good - lots of choices (great bread at breakfast) and there is always something else available (dinner), just some details: - Breakfast: Orange Juice/Drinks are at about room temperature, they could at least be cooled a little bit. Scrambled eggs are tasteless/horrible! Probably stretched and at least use a bit of salt!! - Dinner: Also partly rather tasteless, simply no spices being used. Probably target audience rather people 60+ that like it less salted etc...still it could have some more flavour! (also especially as we are in spain, a paella needs to taste line a paella). Again, overall really good, pretty warm and fresh. Recommend this hotel.

Some good, some bad but overall a welcoming stay

For a 4 star, top 100 hotel in the world, there were some experiences I had with it—good and bad. Bad: the WiFi goes in and out quite a bit. Not sure if it’s just a bad connection or too many people using it at once but it has been down for multiple times during our 8 night stay. Make sure to have some shows and movies downloaded. Bad: the shower floods easily. My wife used the handheld shower head since it spread less water onto the floor than the rainfall shower head. Whole bathroom floor is soaked if you use the rainfall head. Bad: I’m not sure if it’s the hotel or if it’s because I’m American but there was no microwave anywhere in the hotel. If you got leftovers from one of the amazing restaurants down the street, you can’t heat it back up since there’s no microwave or toaster or anything of the such in the hotel. So if you go out to eat, make sure to eat it all or trash it when you’re done. Good: the spa was absolutely fantastic. Everything was priced fairly for what you get and how long you get it for. The care of the massages and spa was unbeatable. Best spa my wife and I have ever gone to. Good: although there are no microwaves in the hotel, there is breakfast buffet from 0800-1030, an outdoor bar open after that, dinner buffet from 1815-1945 or 2015-2145, and an indoor bar with live music each night at the same time. So there’s honestly no need to eat out sometimes and worry about driving or parking. Good: the staff knows multiple languages.

We had a really wonderful stay here with our three children. Beautiful hotel and sorroundings, delicious food catering to different tastes, super friendly, helpful staff. Everything works seamlessly and smoothly and we felt really well looked after. Hope we can come back soon!

Can only recommend this excellent hotel. Nice room, nice facilities and nice surroundings. The quality of the food in the restaurant was surprisingly good. All staff were amazing: Professionel, serviceminded, friendly incl child friendly and smiling😊 Only some few wishes for improvement: Better quality of food in bar menu and shampoo + conditioner in the bathroom.

Lovely

Hello, this was a beautiful hotel. It is very clean and well designed. People are friendly and attentive to details. The pool area is lovely. Food is excellent; I would have preferred natural orange juice, although they have other natural juices. They had some vegetarian and gluten-free options. There is a library, a few games and the nightly entertainment was nice. The prices at the bar and buffet were very acceptable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. Overall, this was a lovely stay!

Hotel encantador. Buena comida y staff muy amables

Mi marido y yo nos quedamos en el hotel para pasar un fin de semana largo a principios de mayo. El hotel esta en perfecta condiciones, todo muy limpio y las habitaciones muy modernas. El buffet espectacular en el desayuno y en la cena y habia muchisima variedad. Todo el staff del hotel son muy amables y simpáticos y nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Lo único que nos fallo fue el tiempo que hacia un pelin de frío pero aún asi pudimos relajar. La unica pena es que no haya playa cerca!

Sehr ruhig gelegene Unterkunft mit leckerem Essen. In manchen Bereichen bemerkt man, dass das Hotel bereits ins Alter gekommen ist. Es sollten die Matratzen und Bademäntel dringend ausgetauscht werden.

Hôtel calme extrêmement propre dans quartier calme en hauteur de puerto de la cruz avec facilité de se garer gratuitement autour. Personnel très serviable, souriant et poli. Les femmes de ménages, au bar, à la piscine, à l'accueil, quelques personnels au restaurant(les dames, le petit jeune, les cuistos, le responsable). Nourriture bonne, soirées agréables. Piscine avec serviettes et coussins à disposition. Possibilité d'y aller sans vraiment d'horaires de restrictions. Hôtel très beau et très arboré. Accueil très réactif pour nous changer de chambre suite à un problème dans celle initiale. Merci pour ce très agréable et reposant séjour.
