Clean, comfortable. Service was good. But, I didn’t make use of much at the hotel.The only problem really was the hotel is cash only. I was lucky I actually had cash on me at the time.

The property was very nice. I absolutely loved my stay here. Most definitely will come back again. The hotel staff was so friendly and welcoming. We sat around, we joked, we talked; it honestly felt like being around family not just being a customer. I cannot wait to my next trip to come back here!!!

Friendliest place in town!

Best thing about this place is the service and staff. This is in a quiet part of town, but is a very quick walk to beach, restaurants and entertainment. Manager is very accommodating and the other guests are very friendly. A lot of restaurant patrons are local ex-pats and very friendly and helpful. Had a feeling of being with family.

I liked the location was good! Clean rooms and clean surrounding! Restaurant was ok . i only eate ones for dinner and the food was decent. The country was in cureflew so not too much do eat or to do after 6:30pm weekdays and 5:00pm weekends.

Great breakfast and service. Shower went from extremely hot to cold, and water pressure was not so good. Music from bar was a bit loud at night. Room was comfortable though and clean. AC worked well. Was disappointed not to be able to pay by credit card though.

Perfect location hotel spot in Sosua

Hotel Don Andres is in a great location in Sosua; very close to everything (walking distance) but just enough away from the crowded streets and traffic noise. The rooms are very comfortable with all the amenities you need (AC, hot water, daily housekeep, bar, restaurant, refrigerator, nice bed and great customer service). They have a very nice pool area as well. I would highly recommend this hotel to others.

Solid place just blocks from downtown Sosua.

Place advertises itself as a 2* place but i'd say it's more 3*. Good location that's fairly updated. 10 min walking distance to everything. Solid wifi. Nice clean pool with a store across the street for last min items. didn't get to try the restaurant tho.

Don't stay here, hotel left us stranded

We booked this hotel at least 3 months in advance of our trip. We arrived to the hotel around 9pm after traveling for almost 24hrs from California . The travel time included an airline layover and a 5.5 hr bus ride from Santo Domingo to Sosua. We arrived at the hotel only to have the owner come out to the sidewalk to tell us that there was a mistake and our rooms were not available. That's it, he didn't offer any alternatives or other options. Basically we were left stranded on sidewalk with our luggage and NO hotel. He did offer us a bottle of rum for our inconvinience. I guess the plan was we could just get drunk and sleep on the sidewalk. The hotel never sent us an email or phone call warning us in advance of this "problem". I honestly feel like we were just not welcomed there as soon as we arrived judging by the looks we received from patrons sitting at the bar. The owner coming out to tell us he had no rooms for us just reassured my feelings. I will NEVER again book this hotel. I strongly suggest that you don't either. Unless you want to show up in Sosua at night with NO place to stay. That is a very unpleasant situation. Hotels.com didn't provide much help either as they kept me on phone hold for 30 or more minutes several times as they claimed to attempt to find me another room somewhere. They never did and I was left with a hefty roaming bill just for good measure. It was a horrible experience I would not wish on anyone. Be Warned

Away from the main strip, a nice quiet hideaway,

Great visit, all good ! Room was fine and a king bed, clean, and roomy. Pool was very nice as was bar and restaurant. Feels like you're away in a little oasis. Nicely done Don Andres.

The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and accommodating. Food and beverages were great. I had a couple of issues that were resolved in a timely manner by the owner and others. I needed to shave with a power outlet and iron my clothes... not a big deal as I was able to be creative... I tried to book this hotel again and it was sold out! When in Sosua, look up Hotel Don Andres!

Mix up made right

There was actually a bit of a mix up with the reservation but the owner really worked hard to make it right and despite the mild inconvenience, in the end I was quite happy with the outcome.

Sosua one night.

Its a hotel for one night to rest and get going.Overall it was ok,the only problem that i had,it was that until 2.30 in the night there was a loud music in the bar ,and it was impossible to relax.If i have to sleep again in sosua,i will spent another night there.

Best So Far

This was my 5th different hotel I have stayed in at Sosua. By far the best for its pricing, comfort, good quality of food and extremely pleasant staff. Will be staying here again on my next visit. Generally such a nice hotel to be at.
