I was warmly received by the staff, and had a great weekend trip with all inclusive amenities. Fair warning to those hoping for a fridge and a microwave: these are not included but the buffet and free drinks available more than make up for this. I would recommend this place for any first timers in Vallarta.

We had an amazing stay!! I went with my mom and we both enjoyed it so much, we'll be back next year! Our room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony that looked over the pool. The beds and bedding were fantastic. We spent most of our time at the pools in the sun with wonderful cocktails. The staff from the front desk to the bartenders were extremely helpful and pleasant. Thank you, Vamar!!!

Stayed at this property Jan. 13 -18 2026. The location is stellar. Main building is right on the marina with the villas being right on the ocean. It’s clean and well kept. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food is good. Pools are fantastic and not busy. Great orientation to the sun for tanning. No coffee makers in the room and no ice machines anywhere. I would stay here again.

We had a great view from our room, however we were expecting balcony too. Apparently to get the balcony room we had to pay extra. Overall the staff tried their best to make our stay pleasant even tho some room upgrades were missing. The Italian restaurant has best food, we really enjoyed it. Having marina side & beach side is a plus for guests, walking distance from both sides very close. Location was pretty quiet & the pools were not packed. Mojito was great :)

We recently stayed at Vamar Vallarta All Inclusive Marina & Beach Resort and overall had a mixed experience. Before the security situation in Puerto Vallarta occurred, the resort itself was very enjoyable. The accommodations were comfortable, the buffet was well stocked with good variety and there were plenty of activities and entertainment options available. The staff we encountered were generally friendly and working hard to keep things running smoothly. Unfortunately, once the cartel-related security situation developed in the area, the experience changed quite a bit. We were scheduled to check out, however because of the situation we had to book additional nights until we could leave. At that time, the resort charged us more per night than we originally paid. Many resort services were reduced — about half of the buffet stations were closed, most activities and entertainment stopped and the Wi-Fi was extremely unreliable. This made communication difficult at a time when many guests were trying to contact family members, airlines and consular services for information. Communication from the resort during the situation was also limited and many guests seemed unsure about what was happening or what steps they should take. That said, we do recognize that this was a difficult and unusual situation for the resort staff as well and we appreciate that they continued operating and providing food and accommodation during a stressful time. We met people who were staying in other hote
