"The hotel is right next to the national park so great for hiking. The hotel is also in the centre of Saariselkä which is compact and pedestrian friendly so this makes it easy if you’re using buses to get in and out of town and don’t have a vehicle. Breakfast and dinner at the restaurant are good. The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. Be aware that activities book out and so if you want to do more than hiking you’ll need to plan and book ahead."

"Vanha kattohuoneisto, viidelle hengelle ehdottomasti ahdas, ellei kyse ole aivan pienistä lapsista. Tuolit kolmelle. Ei pesukonetta, tiskit hoidetaan käsin, ja siltä ne näyttivätkin. Ok pesuhuone, pieni jääkaappi johon mahtuu max päivän eväät. Makuutilat matalat, sängyn toisessa päässä mahtuu juuri ja juuri istumaan, toisessa ei. Kesähelteillä todella kuuma, mutta huoneesta löytyy tuuletin vähän helpottamaan. Lähinnä yöpaikka, ei sovellu kummemmin oleskeluun. Erinomainen aamupala ravintola...

The staff are extremely nice - Andrea, Mia, Tina, Omar and the other cook all very warm and hospitable. Even the drivers who picked up and dropped us off at the Kakslautannen bus stop are friendly. I will surely go back and visit the place with my son and other family members in winter time. They will surely love this place. Thank you for hospitality."

Holiday Club Saariselkä Apartments

10/10 Excellent

"What an amazing place. We had one of our best family holiday's ever. The apartment had plenty of space for our family. The sauna was amazing. Staff were super helpful and friendly. Thanks for a great trip!"

Gáldu Hotel & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"Gáldu Hotel and Spa is an idyllic spot for a truly relaxing getaway. The food was incredible, and although the location is slightly remote, it hardly matters when the hotel’s facilities are of such a high standard. Breakfast was next level — a beautifully presented buffet with plenty of choice, alongside freshly prepared hot options. The spa was also a fantastic experience, clearly well maintained and thoughtfully managed. What really stood out was the staff. Everyone was warm, welcoming, and attentive, and it’s clear the owners have put a great deal of care and thought into every detail of the hotel. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

Santa's Hotel Tunturi

10/10 Excellent

"Amazing breakfast included in the room cost 7-10am, got a free upgrade to a suite with a personal sauna in our room, perfectly located in the middle of the village. Maybe 5-7 minute walk to the top of the village and 20th to the downhill ski resort. 3 min walk to the trails. Everything was amazing!"
