"Helpful staff to help find things to do or see. Btw-there’s tons! Located right in the old city which makes parking a challenge. The hotel sends an email the day before with some helpful guidance. Just bring your patience and breathe, it all works out. Smallish rooms but you’re in the heart of the city, so it’s understandable. Everything is clean and modern with a small balcony. Breakfast is included and includes a fair sized buffet. Overall, very few complaints once you get parking sorted. Definitely walk to the lighthouse during sunset. I can’t tell you how amazing this city is."
Nafsimedon Hotel

"Nafsimedon is conveniently located on the edge of Nafplion's old town and has "period charm" (i.e. circa 1880), which means that one shouldn't expect a lot of fancy, modern touches, though the television screen hidden behind the one-way mirror was an interesting touch. My ground-level room was smallish but adequate for a single traveller. The only real complaint here was that the towel hook in the bathroom was a pair of slick, ceramic horns set horizontally, which meant that towels quickly slipped off it and onto the floor. A rubber cap on the end of each horn would remedy that, I think. The staff were very helpful, especially when it came to watching over my suitcase for a few hours after I checked out and reuniting me with a shirt that I'd forgotten in a drawer of my room. The shaded, front garden is a nice place for breakfast too."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. Great location too. The only thing was although we had extra space on the top floor with a terrace our bed was so very hard/firm it was difficult. Also though the room was wonderfully decorated the round couch was very impractical & uncomfortable to sit on. So it made it hard to be comfortable lying or sitting."

"Absolutely loved our stay here. The property is close to everything. The room was very nice, with a cute little balcony to sit out on. They kept everything well stocked with coffee and little chocolates. I would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone staying in nafplio."
