Staff very helpful and friendly in all departments.Paid for breakfast on one of the days and it was excellent.There was a choice of a set menu or buffet breakfast. The Crown Plaza is close to everything in Queenstown.The room we had was spacious and had a gorgeous balcony view of the remarkables.

Booked this property based on its proximity to the main downtown area. Saves the hassle of driving to town every day. Stayed 3 nights but did not spend much time at the hotel- assumed that all or most rooms faced the lake but man was I wrong- they placed us on the 3rd floor (Conference level). Felt like a sub basement because it was at ground level facing a small courtyard at the back of the property. A very well used property with a hefty price tag. You’re paying for location only. Make sure to add the valet parking to your room fee total if you have a car. Otherwise, staff is friendly and helpful and if you’re out enjoying activities, not the worst case.

Rooms and Shower are dated and only good if you are 5’4”. Otherwise, you are bending over. AC cannot keep up with heat that comes in from the room facing east/south. Had to keep curtain closed and still didn’t help even after speaking with maintenance and front desk. Ac units are old. We sweated every night. Location and breakfast were awesome- that was the only thing keeping us there from not checking out early!

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel! The staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, the room was clean and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. The bus stop right in front of the hotel made getting around incredibly convenient, and we loved how close the shops and restaurants were—just a short walk away. It was a great experience overall – highly recommended!
