We arrived on a rainy morning and were able to check in early, which was a bonus, and we were given a larger unit than we had booked. The motel, set in a peaceful garden at the end of the main street, is in a great location with lovely river walks nearby. Our unit was spacious and comfortable, though the bathroom could use a refurbishment. It was nice to be able to sit outside on the verandah.

Shades of Arrowtown is in a lovely, quiet location—perfect for a relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we really enjoyed having a small patio to sit on in the evening. we had no issues during our stay.

Lovely place to stay, right near the centre of Arrowtown. Very well maintained and beautifully clean. The one small thing with my room was a light from behind shone directly through the bathroom window and onto the bed. This was solved by closing the bathroom door, however I don’t like sleeping with doors closed. Would highly recommend Shades of Arrowtown
