Perfect location, being walking distance to restaurants, cafes, shops, main piazza and local attractions. A gorgeous old building with massive rooms and ours was a very comfy bed and everything we needed (room 2). It was so quiet - we slept like babies 😊. The little shuttle bus that takes you to Ragusa Superior and the main bus station is only a 2 minute walk. The town is very walkable and absolutely stunning with fantastic restaurants and many local artists offering beautiful crafts (no Chinese knock offs here 🙌). The staff were amazing with prior communication and advice of the local area and offered a delicious simple daily breakfast, they were always available but never obtrusive. Don’t miss eating at That’s Amoro - delicious authentic food (loads of GF options also) and a 2 minute walk away. We will be back and will absolutely stay here again.

Costanza was a great host. She ensured we arrived and parked correctly. Was easy to contact and very helpful. The room was as advertised- very well kept and large. The shower and bathroom are excellent. The continental breakfast was well stocked and the coffee excellent. A great stay

The room was clean and spacious. The sisters were friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Location in town was perfect. Parking and the drive into town were both challenging. San Giorgio procession weekend was not as loud or disruptive as expected and generally fun to experience.

This was a beautiful stay, lovely room with character, and rooftop terrace for breakfast. Staff was really nice and a great location. Wish I could go back again. Highly recommend.

Palatial rooms (literally)

This stay could not have been nicer. The room was huge - our own sitting room and bedroom really. The breakfast buffet of home made Sicilian delicacies was delicious. Maria and Constanzia were extremely helpful and very friendly. The location was perfect and car parking was available just outside in the street. Strongly recommend this B&B to anyone.

We had a wonderful time during our stay here. Castanza was warm, welcoming, and even drove to the public parking area to guide us to her B&B-- upon our arrival. She provided dining and sightseeing advice. She assisted us to obtain tickets to a local musical production that was outstanding !! The home is beautiful, very spacious, extremely clean, and within easy walking distance to all of Ragusa Ibla. We highly recommend you stay here. Lovely breakfast on the terrace each morning. Thank you again for a dream vacation.

Great B&B close to Metro (Duomo) and 5-10 min walk to the old city. One large bed and a "bedsofa", large bath with towels and clean towels. AC worked excellent, didn't turn on the TV. Small cooler. Remember this is a old building and no elevator. We had our own entrance, small breakfast included. Great restaurants and pizzeria and supermarket next door. This was one of the best places Ive ever stayed at in Napoli. No problems to get a cab and we had the window opened and wasn't disturbed.

My husband & I had a wonderful 2-night stay here in Ragusa Ibla (the old town) in mid-May 2025. This is a very cool old building with modern updates. Our room was comfortable & had everything we needed. There’s even a mini-fridge that we didn’t notice until the last night. The breakfast buffet was delicious, with lots of local specialties. Most important, Costanza is a wonderful host. She was responsive whenever we had questions or needed anything. Her help was critical when we had rental car trouble and she spoke to the company for us in Italian, which was faster & more accurate than the English-Italian mix we were attempting with the company representative. This is just an example of how thoughtful Costanza is with her guests. We recommend staying here!

Accueil extrêmement sympathique, lieu très agréa et bien décoré, superbes petits déjeuners sur la terrasse, très bon emplacement Seul bémol: notre chambre donnait sur le hall d’entrée et tout le monde claque la porte pour la fermer! Stay here while in Ragusa!

Beautiful old palazzo with very large rooms. We had a lovely stay here and would definitely come back. Location was perfect. Breakfast was wonderful. Loved it!

A perfect 10

Staying at Epoca was the best decision we made in regards to our trip to Sicily. From pre-arrival communication with Maria and Costanza to our warm welcome our stay was perfect in every way. We were able to park right next to the B & B thanks to the sisters help which started our visit off far more relaxing. The pictures on Hotels.com are perfectly accurate but can’t even begin to capture the size and the beauty of the bedrooms. Our room had three large windows which open to let fresh air and light in during the day but can be shuttered at night to darken the room. The mattress is a very comfortable dense foam similar to our Tempurpedic at home. The water pressure in the shower was great which made the rainfall shower head a delight. We had breakfast each morning on the outdoor terrace and there was a nice selection all artfully displayed. Eggs to order were available. This hotel has only 5 rooms and is in a perfect location in the garden area of Ragusa Ibla. Truly a 10 for comfort, hospitality and location. If they have availability snatch it up for an unforgettable vacation.

Perfect in every way. The location is right in the centre of Ragusa Ibla but the property was very quiet and calm. Our room was huge, spotless and very comfortable and the breakfast was a lovely selection of local pastries, cakes as well as cold meats and cheeses. We were made to feel very welcome and will definitely stay again if we revisit beautiful Ragusa

Excellence location, quiet, nice breakfast terrace, good parking. There is an excellent restaurant just next door: I Banchi. We ate there both nights. Our rooms had a smell of cleaning products that was not pleasant; very little opportunity to interact with other guests-that is either positive or negative, depending on your preference.

This was our favorite hotel in Sicily. It is a beautifully renovated palazzo furnished with lovely Italian antiques. The rooms were huge and immaculately clean. The breakfast was an exquisite and large selection of homemade Sicilian treats. The location was extremely convenient but not overly noisy and the woman who runs the hotel was very helpful and friendly.

Amazing property owned and operated by Constanza and her sister Maria. Part of a palace and one of the cleanest accommodations that we have stayed in. Excellent location in Ragusa Ibla. Constanza goes the extra miles all the time and is a great organiser arranging our tours at an excellent price, extra pillows, tea you name it she does it with a smile and great efficiency ! We highly recommend Epoca.

Can't praise Epoca enough. Constanza was so welcoming and helped us throughout our week, finding out bus times and arranging drivers for us. Our room and ensuite were cleaned to a high standard every day and there was an excellent choice for breakfast. I certainly hope that I will return.
