The room is clean and modern, bathroom also clean, like the shower has divider glass door for keeping toilet area dry. Staff are very attentive and polite, free buggy ride to market is nice, but only one chair for two people in the room, designer headboard for the bed is so big, taking much space in the room, useless, room will be larger without this thing. Very basic and limited option for breakfast. Hotel charged me 900 baht for airport taxi, very steep for the trip cost about 400/500 with Grab taxi. I won't book this hotel for my next trip to Bangkok.

Along one of the many beaches of Hua Hin, Thailand, sits a tiny peninsula that houses Wat Khao Takiab. Like most temples, a statue of Buddha is displayed in some shape or form. Here the statue is one of a standing Buddha with the palms of both hands upright and facing outwards, called “Repelling the Oceans”. One common meaning of this posture is the belief that on a visit to India, Buddha used the power of meditation to repel a wall of water that was unleashed by a hermit in hopes to cause a flood. There is also a second meaning “Preventing the Relative from Fighting”.
