"This hotel had the makings of a good place but it’s tired looking. It’s pretty run down. The walls are also thin and you can hear everyone. The AC isn’t on half the year so you can’t operate it in your room. The staff was nice but they can only work with what they have. Had high hopes for this hotel but won’t be staying again. "

"We had a lovely stay at Arlo Midtown, very close to Times Square and subway near port terminal and the hotel staff are lovely and very accommodating. Rooms are clean and cleaned every day. We will definitely go back! They even gave my daughter some macarroons as it was her 18th birthday when we stayed last week."

"Not sure how this hotel is rated as a four star hotel, I think because of the location. Room was dirty and curtains had holes in them. Main and Bathroom Doors were hard to close and needed maintenance, making loud noises when trying to force them to close. No parking available through the hotel. "
