This was our second stay in a yearโs time. If you donโt know what to expect, you may be surprised. Itโs an old boarding school, so it has a cool factor. It feels like youโve stepped back in time because everything looks original. The rooms are old but clean and have a bed, table, and sink. The bathrooms are down the hall, old but clean as well. It could really use some renovations. The location is great if youโre in the area because there arenโt many other options.
We were disappointed with breakfast this time. Itโs open from 7-10. We got there at 9, and some of the options had run out, and the eggs were cold. Unfortunately, thereโs nowhere around to get food, so bring your own. Thereโs a fridge in the common area where you can store perishables, or leave them in the car.
Some basic renovations would go a long way, and breakfast should be hot and plentiful.
Undecided if we would stay here again, probably only if we couldnโt get a room somewhere else.
