Great time at the Spói Guesthouse for myself and my son. Owners are friendly, location is convenient, and it was great fun meeting new people. Will definitely stay there again when we make it back to Iceland!

Nice place, I wish there had been a way we could have dropped off our luggage early since check-in was late in the day. Also other guests were a little noisy from 10-11pm, but it was a great location, clean, safe etc.

Pleasant guest house

Spoi is a very nice guesthouse, clean and well-maintained. The only drawback is lack of a stove to cook food, but there are a microwave, a kettle, and a toaster.

Spói Guesthouse was by far the best accommodation we've had during our week long road trip in Iceland! We booked hotels for all of our other stays and decided to try a guesthouse for one night and we were pleasantly surprised how comfortable and clean it was. My husband and I were lucky enough to have the entire house to ourselves. Our bedroom was spacious and the bathroom was amazingly clean! I especially love the layout of the bathroom and how bright it was. I would recommend Spói Guesthouse to anyone passing by this part of Iceland.

Property located in the beautiful small town Hvolsvöllur which has ~900 inhabitants (according to Wikipedia). Guesthouse is cozy and well managed. Serene, peaceful location with private parking. Rooms and common spaces were neat. Beds were very comfortable; bedsheets and towels were clean. Bathrooms and shower were well maintained and immaculate. There is no breakfast included, but property has spacious common area to make your own breakfast, lunch with coffee maker and tea pot. Krónan store is walking distance to purchase any food. There are several restaurants in the area as well. We truly enjoyed dinner at Ranga Restaurant with great tasting food, ambiance and service. Overall excellent stay at Spói Guesthouse, would highly recommend it.

Eigenaresse stond ons op te wachten bij aankomst. Legde uit waar alles te vinden was. 3 badkamers voor 6 kamers. Geen (of nauwelijks) wachttijden dus. Grote woonkeuken. Erg schoon. Met koelkast waar je gebruik van mag maken. Waterkoker. Crackers, koekjes, thee, koffie, choco alles kun je gebruiken. Handdoeken beschikbaar en ook föhns. Compleet en schoon dus!

Wonderful guesthouse. Room and washroom are clean. The common kitchen is nicely equipped. There are good eating options around. I'd recommend Valhalla restaurant across the street. There's a breakfast buffet at Hotel Hvolsvollur right next to it.

Wonderful guesthouse !

Accueul très chaleureux, la maison est vraiment conviviale. L’espace commun est grand et très bien équipé (tout l’électroménager nécessaire) avec des petites attentions de l’hôte très appréciées (cookies, gâteaux) La chambre est spacieuse et au calme pour un repos sans failles (doubles rideaux a la fenêtre pour une occultation de la lumière quasi complète) Très bonne adresse que je recommande vivement !
