“I would suggest in a pet friendly hotel they should keep the pets on the same floor together.”

“clean rooms, fast checkin”

“Great location”

“My husband and I love staying at historic hotels and the Alex Johnson Hotel in Rapid City is a favorite. The building is wonderful and the staff was excellent. Clean, charming and welcoming. Great shops and restaurants in the building and more in easy walking distance.”

“It was a great stay. We weren’t able to check in right away, the front desk staff gave us a discount and vouchers for the restaurant. Very kind and considerate. We will be back.”

“Not safe!!! Things were stolen from our hotel room! Staff did nothing and didn't seems to care. Signs clearly state that they do not clean rooms unless requested, yet they cleaned ours the day after we reported the missing items. No cameras in hallways or elevator. Witnessed another person having a bag stolen as well. I am in awe of the lack of care the staff has. Do not trust this place!”

“The rooms Are clean and comfortable and the location is great”
