"Location is very convenient - close to everything. Plenty of on-street parking nearby (free between 5:00 pm and 9:00 am the following day). The only downside is the room was pretty small - we have difficulty opening our large suitcase and could only climb onto the bed from one side as the other side was pushed against the window."

"Clean modern hotel. Our studdio apartment was compact buthad everything we needed. An ice machine on the property would be a nice addition. That seems to be a common thing lacking at New Zealand hotels."

"The hotel states that it has secure storage however luggage is just left in the corridor a few meters from the entrance as the luggage store is tiny and can only accommodate a few cases. There was no staff on reception for at least 5 min when I arrived and homeless use adjacent doorway recess as a drugs haunt. When I questioned the manager, he was quite rude and insisted it was safe. "Could not go onto Balcony as the door could not open. We were in a top floor apartment. All handrails to the top floor on the staircase was loose. The shower "door" into the tub is placed in such a way that it is dangerous to get in and out of this bathtub, because you have to lean against the wall at an angle to open and close the door while standing in the bathtub. The bed mattresses can do with replacing as it is very worn out. You can feel the bed springs sticking into your back when lying down."
