“Certainly not as nice as the photos make out. We would not stay again and do not recommend it. Poor nights sleep for many reasons. Not a good shower. Smelly bathroom, noisy fridge, very light in room at night due to fire exit light in room ...hard pillows. Also very glad breakfast wasn't included based on what we saw. Overpriced for what it is. ”

“Overall enjoyable stay. Staff friendly and supportive. Parking easy. Room overall comfortable - radiator and heater helped warm the room. Shower needs removal of mould and descaling of shower head. Preordering breakfast worked fine and the omelette was very enjoyable. Dinner was good. Sharing starter good as was the beef stew and Bull burger. Crumble nice. Enjoyable drinks in the bar.”

With this comes issues with either a very steep staircase up to the rooms or use of an emergency exit at the rear (which is made of metal steps with a precarious old mat dangerously situated at the top). The room was lovely but it was very hot as situated above the kitchen. The weather was forecasted to be 28/29 degrees and I had to ask for a fan.
