"There were ups and downs. The ups: the front desk staff and cleaning crew were friendly. The room was straight and organized and the hotel in general seems to be kept in good order. Now, the downs: I speculate how well the towels were laundered because when I was using a towel, I felt a long hair on my face. It turned out to be a long, blonde hair on a towel that was supposedly brand new. Yuck. There was also a fire alarm the night we checked in. The alarm stopped after a short time, people were looking out the doors, looking at us, looking back and forth down the hallways, wondering what to do (stupid). I tried to call downstairs to ask if the all-clear was given, my phone did not even work because the handheld part was a cordless phone. The battery was dead because it wasn't sitting in the cradle. I found out later that either the battery was bad or the whole phone doesn't work because additional time in the cradle did not make the handset work. I told the front desk on more than one occasion to get the phone either fixed or replaced, they did neither. So I was annoyed that I had to come all the way downstairs to ask questions that needed answers. Upset over that. As the saying goes, 'you had one job!!... '. I also didn't like how I told them more than once that I'm not parking in the hotel's lot, which they charge $45. I had to inspect the final bill to ensure they weren't ripping us off (they were, either out of negligence or malice). So overall they get 3/5 stars. "

"If the rates here reflected the room it would have been ok but it was just as expensive as a much nicer hotel. It was such a weird experience. We had to use key codes and go through two locked hallways to get to our room. The bed was a drop down Murphy bed and the room looked lived in. The staff was wonderful and helpful and I hope they get better support from ownership. There was a weird bar that’s closed down and it looked like someone went to the grocery store and threw some grocery items in the “store”. It’s was not what we expected and was not a comfortable place to stay. We checked out the next morning and went to another hotel. Would not stay again but operate the staff trying to help us out. The hotel is not worth the money they charge and it is not the way the owner represent it online. "
