"We got checked in, we asked if we wanted a ground floor room and accepted, and we’re glad to have it. We got to the room and whoever cleaned it had not swept into the corner, there were lots of bugs on the floor. There was more than just dryer on top of the sheets, there was actual dirt in the bathtub, and peeling paint from the ceiling on the vanity. Maybe more importantly, I had paid for a “plus“ room, and this was not that. I went back and was pretty much told that was the best they could do and I most certainly had not paid for an updated room. I showed them that I had and politely let them know that I would go elsewhere if I did not get a clean room that was updated. They gave us an updated room on the third floor, and does my wife, and I walked in, we were hit with a waft of smoke, strong enough that we wondered if someone was in there! Went back and complained again, and were escorted to a room that was almost spotless, but Spartan. this is kind of a rough place.. It was rather unfortunate for the owner. I suppose that I had booked two nights on hotel.com, and reserve the third night over the phone. I guess they forgot, because he woke me up, almost broke the door in, breaking one of the bolts that held the deadbolt in place, before I met him at the partway open door and advised that he goes somewhere else while I get dressed and I would be up to the office to help with things out in a little. He had taken my credit card, but not run it."

"The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was a great size and very clean. The only problem I had was the shower and toilet area was a little too squeezed into the area it was in, but other than that everything was great!"

"This hotel unfortunately seems to look past the responsibilities of maintaining room cleanliness, smells and repairs. We arrived to a pleasant and updated building exterior. Then it went downhill! From a building entrance door that was broken, to damaged furnishings, a refrigerator that sounded horrible (compressor), pet smells covered up with deodorizers, to dirty unopened pool and people up all night long making noise. It seems that people that stay long term have the upper hand. The breakfast was the only positive."

"Was a nice location we like to Uber downtown its cheap to get there. Very expensive to get back."

"Nice property. Everything was as expected. Good size room. Highlight was the friendliness of the staff, especially Hubert on the front desk. Enjoyed his time for a chat and suggestions on Nashville. Breakfast was nice. Property was close to major roads. Only downside was the TV had a reduced viewing size. Not sure why and I guess it's not a major negative. Also the bed was quite high. Once again, not a big issue, just a little odd."

"Our stay was great. The breakfast was good and the room was clean. There were some odd noises coming from the air vent in the middle of the night but nothing we couldn't sleep through. Overall a great experience."
