Top Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen Hotel Reviews
Watermark Beach Resort
10/10 Excellent
"This was our second stay at the hotel - despite the below average reception experience the first time round - mostly due to the hotel's location right by the lake, which allowed us to go swimming in the lake as well as the pool without any hassle.
As seen in other reviews, the maintenance team and cleaning team are super friendly, but the welcome at reception is definitely less than 5 star. From my experience, these difference between teams are usually linked to the (hiring) managers.
I'd also called to ask for help booking an extra night months prior to the booking, but was told no help could be provided because I dared book through Expedia. Obviously, I didn't expect them to change my Expedia booking, I was enquiring about booking an extra night direct with the hotel as the website was only allowing a 2 night minimum booking and I already had 2 nights booked.
Otherwise, our stay was comfortable - always appreciate the massively oversized beds in this hotel, and sitting on the balcony."
"The Coast and Oliver are a welcome getaway in the Southern Okanagan. The amenities at Coast are new and well looked after. The reception staff are very welcoming and included breakfast was a bonus, especially for the school camps that were in residence for 3 days."
