"This is our 4th stay at IBIS Garena and we are never disappointed. Helpful, friendly staff always happy to help, comfortable beds and lovely breakfast. Free parking a bonus with covered section if you're early. We stayed 2 nights and took the train into Madrid (30 mins) for the day and in the evening wandered down the mile-long street in Alcara de Henares full of shops, restaurants and people enjoying the space. Ideal stopover point between Santander and Almeria. Highly recommended - even has a Lidl next door for convenience shopping!"

"Fabulous hotel, clean, comfortable beds and lovely rooms - we paid for one overlooking the golf course. The service and friendliness of the staff was second to none. The pool is a plunge pool (0.8m) on the top floor over looking the golf course which was very cold but just what we needed given we were here in August. We played golf every day and you definitely need a car to get around as the hotel is isolated but within 6 mins you can reach a supermarket and restaurants by car. The golf course was brilliant, really long and very tough greens but in fantastic condition and well watered. "

"A lovely hotel just a short 15 minute walk from the centre and on the circular bus route to get to the bus and railway stations. The only issue was the noisy groups of elderly travellers having breakfast in the morning. Although they were seated in a separate area, they decimated the breakfast buffet and made it unpleasant for other guests. It would have been much better if they had a separate buffet in their own area."

"I was very happy with 2 people in particular who went above and beyond. First it was Margarita, the receptionist. She was very attentive and patient, especially when the hotel was super busy and full. Stef was part of the staff and she was just so kind and helpful with anything I needed or my kids. "
