Top Rennes-les-Bains Hotel Reviews
Pont Levis Boutique Hôtel - 50m Cité Remparts Carcassonne
8/10 Good
"Gorgeous hotel, exceptional location by the medieval city walls. The air con smelled amazing and the bed and pillows were super comfortable. We also enjoyed how fluffy the bath robes were. We were also fortunate to be offered our room early upon arrival, when we were prepared to leave our luggage to return later. I would give 4 out of 5 stars for a few reasons. Firstly, the check out time on hotels.com was 12pm, and this was a contributing factor to choosing this hotel. The cleaner knocked on the door at 11.30am and was frustrated that we had not yet checked out, saying it should have been 11am, so we rushed to leave at this point. Fortunately the reception staff was kind about it, but I showed them my hotels.com confirmation and they didn't seem to care about the discrepancy. Secondly, the hot tub didn't retain its heat after one short use so we only used it once during our stay. The outdoor area of our room, where the hot tub was situated, didn't match the level of glamour from the inside of the room. Lastly, the exterior of the hotel felt cramped and basic including the pool area. Photos online gave me the impression there were manicured grounds with views of the castle walls, but all I could see was a view of a cemetery. Lovely hotel I just felt the price was a little high for the amenities."

"We had a lovely apartment with a separate bathroom. It had a sofa bed table chairs and a kitchen. The breakfast was expensive but very good food at lots of choices. The staff were very friendly."
Hôtel du Château & Spa Gemology
10/10 Excellent
"We spent one night here on 30th August and regretted not staying longer. Beautiful hotel, lovely staff and great views of the citadel ramparts. The hotel is at the famous Narbonne gate entrance to the citadel and we had a wonderful time with family and friends in Place Marcou. We will definitely return at a future date."
ibis Styles Carcassonne La Cité
8/10 Good
"Stays for three nights to explore the medieval city and do a day trip to Toulouse. The hotel is very walkable to the medieval citadel and is also on a bus route so for us, well located for our needs but far from the main carcassonne and taxi to/from the airport will cost over €20. Rooms large and clean, slight drain smell so needed to keep bathroom doors shut. The a/c annoyingly reverted to 25c from 22c during the night time so had to get up to regulate it (was 30/31c during day). Breakfast was varied, plentiful and good quality. Freshly squeezed orange juice machine was a nice touch. Swimming pool was fantastic after a hot day walking the ramparts and exploring the medieval city. Towels are a non-refundable €2 and disappointingly small. Overall we would stay here again if in the area - a well priced, comfortable hotel."
Hotel l'Aragon, à 50m de la cité de Carcassonne
10/10 Excellent
"The hotel is well located a few steps from the Carcasonne fortress. We appreciate the air conditioning, comfortable bed and view of the fortress. The bathroom is snug but functional. Breakfast has a good variety of options. The eating area is tight and of course has a lot of people moving around getting drinks and food so I recommend sitting against the back wall so you don’t have a lot of traffic while enjoying your morning coffee. We visited during a few very hot days in July so the sparkling clean pool was an absolute treat."
