Had a lovely stay right in the middle of the medieval city. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice sized rooms and a nice courtyard to sit and have drinks. They helped us get a taxi to the train station at check out. Thank you!

Everything here was great! A beautiful hotel, in a medieval building, perfectly situated on a quiet street (rare) in the center of historic Carcassonne. Very friendly staff, splendid room with generous amenities and a very well appointed bathroom (L'Occitane en Provence). Overall perfect stay!

Visitors need to understand that taking the city bus is a viable alternative for those without a car. Our taxi never arrived at the train station, so we walked. A memorable walk, but a little more gruelling than necessary.

The hotel is in the middle of the old town so is was perfect for us because we wanted the experience and it didn’t disappoint. I recommend it. If you come by car, reach out to the hotel to get the instructions of where to park since you cant reach the hotel driving. The staff were very friendly and although somewhat dated, the room had the French charm i was expecting. Very nice!
