Amazing hotel with cabins, in a stunning location. Can't beat the view! Lovely family run hotel and very welcoming to us and our 2 dogs. We liked it so much, we stayed an extra night. Would thoroughly recommend it for anyone visiting by car or boat! Much nicer than staying in the city. They even showed the England football game in the bar. Nice food too.

Nice view and friendly staff. Close to the ocean! Clean rooms but some dust in the corners. Feels like a real family that owns it. Cosy restaurants that had an american vibe. I would have skipped the bxxb Sign in the bar, that was a little wierd. Maybe it fits more at a man cave or some other place, not a hotel or in a bar with guests.

This hotel is a hidden gem. The owners are very nice and very attentive. The views from the restaurant are very beautiful. Sitting on the deck and enjoying the waterfront was an unexpected bonus.

What a delight this place was. Large apartment with semi-seperate bedrooms, comfy lounge and spacious bathroom, nice patio with fjord-side views, and good cafe/restaurant on site. Totally awesome!

The property location was stunning. The owners were welcoming and accommodating. They both offered great advice on what to see, where to park, and the best time to visit the sites. As we were travelling onwards they offered advice on the best route to travel and how to take the ferries! A truly great experience. Well visit again We now consider them our friends

This is absolute jewel! Great property at the waterfront within 30 minutes from Stavanger. Clean, spacious room, good breakfast. The proper cook who know what he is doing! Best chicken i had in my long journey...we will be back and back and back! Thank you!

Beautiful surroundings directly at the fjord. Cozy atmosphere around the folks at the hotel, the boss is very helpful and the country and western style goes perfectly with this part of Norway. Nothing negative. Everything is 'greit', as they say in Norway. Fine breakfast with lots of shrimps.

You will be steps from the sea with gorgeous views of misty mountains and islands. There are many outdoor tables on your own deck, as well as the reception and restaurant area. Our room was spacious and included a kitchen, table for eating, couch, lounging chair and a good enclosed shower with separate sleeping areas. The owners are friendly and very accommodating. We were cooked a vegetarian buffet lunch upon request which had a large variety of delicious dishes. The sauna with a view of the water is not to be missed! You can jump in the sea to cool off. It is well worth the 30 minute commute to Stavanger to be on this lovely and peaceful island. Thank you for a memorable stay, Sjoberg Hotell!

Wonderful hosts/owners of the property, a beautiful and peaceful oceanfront setting very close to the ferry line, super cozy and modernized rooms with water view, nice breakfast before departing in the morning. We will be back and will promote this beautiful spot for sure!

Sjøberg Hotel and appartments

The hotel is situated far from attractions like Preikestolen or even Stavanger city. This means a lot of driving on toll roads and tunnels. The hosts very kind and helpful. The appartment was small and the kitchen was not very usefull. The breakfast was excellent.

Nice service tho it feels under construction

Two things strike you when you pull in to Sjoberg Ferie, 1) a beautiful location and 2) the look of a construction yard, with temporary structures (porto-potty?) and window/doors either about to be installed or just being taken out. The room was comfortable enough with a kitchenette (fridge, stovetop - no microwave or oven). A jumble of IKEA furniture, average design and a bed frame so awkward it was uncomfortable to sit up and watch tv. Decent number of outlets but no hooks in the bathroom. Best surprises were Apple TV and pretty tasty food from the kitchen where we had breakfast and supper. Emphasis on local ingredients. One annoyance: other guests smoke outside and it seeped through. Conveniently, there's a supermarket just a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Nothing bad, just not a wow for a 3 star at high season price.
