The biggest issue with this room( ocean ) was the smell. Every day when we returned to our room it smelled like dead mice. It was “okay” after opening the patio doors and airing it out but you can’t run the ac while doing that. We have stayed in other properties where the hosts were very proactive in welcoming us and helping to recommend restaurants, tours, etc. Unfortunately that was not the case here. The location is excellent and in all other respects the property offers a nice stay.

We very munch enjoyed our stay in Vista del Porto! As a family of four with two children we had the Faros suite and it was really beautiful. Very modern and stylish. Plenty of space with a large main bathroom and upstairs also a toilet, shower and basin. I especially liked the small balcony overlooking the Venetian harbour. In the evenings you could sit there with something to drink and enjoy the view (and people). You only had the chatter of the restaurants below, otherwise it was rather quiet. And everything was very clean! The welcome hamper was a very nice addition as well. Wish we had stayed for more than just the three nights (even the kids preferred the suite over a hotel with pool!). Next time we are in Rethymno I hope to stay at Vista del Porto again. Thank you!

It was amazing ! A highlight at Rethymno we felt so welcomed with this lovely apartment we surely are going back ! We had a very nice welcome gift and goodbye gift very thoughtful ❤️ thank you again !!
