모두 만족스런 타운내 가족 숙소
일 이층에 각각 5개의 방 그리고 별채 비슷하게 스튜디오가 있었고 성인 3명이 스튜디오 머무름. 단독 부억과 화장실이 있었고 공간이 넓어 음식 해먹기도 수월하였음. 낮에는 사무실에서 근무하는 두 분이 필요한 부분에 친절한 도움을 주었고 햘그림스키 성당이 가깝고 시내 관광 명소가 도보거리 30분 이내여서 매우 좋았음.

깔끔하고 정갈한 숙소
매우 깔끔하고 따뜻한 느낌을 주는 숙소입니다. 마치 가정집에 머무는 듯이 편안함을 느낄수 있어요. 특히 키친이 정갈하고 전망도 좋아 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 다만, 욕실이 공용이라 다소 불편한 점이 있지만, 욕실도 깨끗하게 관리되어 좋았습니다. 위치도 도심 중앙이라 매우 좋구요. 특히, 주인분이 너무너무 친절하세요.

The lady who checked me in was extremely friendly and gave me tips on where to eat, coupons, etc. My room and the common areas were very clean. The location is very close to Hallgrímskirkja and a short walk to rainbow road.

SHARED BATHROOM. Ughhhh I feel like I made a mistake booking this place. It wasn't clear to me that all of the bathrooms were shared...the room is just a small room with a bed. The bathrooms are shared between all guests. The showers don't drain, the upstairs bathroom floods if you shower in it, and there's hair everywhere. I had to clean mass amounts of hair out of the shower twice. To go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you have to walk into the very bright hallway and then the bathroom light flickers when you turn it on. You can hear the people staying next to you. Don't stay here if you are a light sleeper or want privacy and a clean bathroom. The people who run it were nice enough but I honestly have no idea how this place gets high reviews, especially for the price. It was way to expensive to feel like we were in a dorm, and this really put a damper on the last night of our honeymoon.

Check in & out were super easy & the owner was very pleasant. Our room was beautifully decorated & had lots of extras like tea & coffee availability. There was a wonderful shower. Wished we had stayed more than one night!

Cosy stay, very good location with regard to city centre and a beautiful church. Daily free smoothie ready in the fridge which was a nice morning boost :) do recommend.

Freyja Guesthouse was lovely!
Freyja Guesthouse was lovely! I loved the small touches like the fresh cake and smoothies put out every day, and the coffee. Everything was very clean, and the location was incredible, just about a 5 minute walk to the top of rainbow street. Would definitely stay here again.

We were very comfortable at the Freyja Guesthouse & Suites and we'd definitely stay there again. It's an excellent location and has a lot of fun things to do in Reykjavik within walking distance.

Very comfortable guesthouse with kind and helpful owner and staff. Spacious and clean room with comfortable beds. Great location as it's within walking distance to the iconic church, main shopping street and many restaurants.

Expensive for Shared-Bath Accomodations
We'll have to reconsider the shared-bathroom concept in the future especially for the price. It would be nice to have two chairs in the room with queen beds and such. The loft (3rd-floor) was nice. Location was excellent.

Clean, quaint
The shared bathroom was no issue. We had a room next to the bathroom, it didn’t bother us at all. The complimentary breakfast next door was great. You get two choices and both were good. There was Specialized bikes to use , however our stay it rained and we did not use them. Room clean and neat.

Freyja Guesthouse was very welcoming. Upon check in there were mangos smoothies in the refrigerator for each guest and a cake to eat.

Lovely guesthouse, very convenient to downtown and the bus terminal, the staff was friendly, helpful and responsive, they stored my luggage in the morning until the afternoon check-in time, and the facilities were just what I needed: private room, shared bathroom, and access to a kitchen - they even provided Nespresso and smoothies! There was also a lovely common lounge on the top floor. I would certain return, and recommend to others wanting the convenience of a hotel but the coziness of a home stay.

I wasn't sure how I'd feel about the bathroom down the hall--but it was impossible to beat the location, around the corner from the iconic Hallgrímskirkja cathedral. I didn't get the weather I'd hoped for--but it was the perfect place for my trip. And my room was immaculate and very comfortable!

The host was excellent and responded quickly by email. The checkin was easy. There is a nice kitchen and smoothies were provided (though we didn't drink them). The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The bathroom is down the hall which may be an issue for some people. It is a nice location. We stayed there our last night and were able to walk down the hill to the bus station to get our bus back to the airport.

We stayed in the Family Suite for 2 nights at the end of our trip in Iceland (2 adults and a child). It was lovely;the suite was roomy with a King bed and a comfy queen pull out sofa (and there was still plenty of room for our bags and places for our kiddo to play.) There was a great assortment of teas and Nespresso, the operators were friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect! It was close to everything but far enough away to be very quiet and peaceful, even on a weekend! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Iceland!
