Good location. Easy check in but we had to wait a bit for the clean up of our unit to be finished after the allotted check in time. Small, but clean and completely adequate for our stay. Very nice to have the small kitchenette and on site laundry. Loved the towel warmer in the bathroom!

Property was just like the photos showed. We appreciated the space traveling as a family of 4 and the beds were comfortable. The location was great and parking easy. My only issue was the people above us, when awake were moving their dining chairs at least every 10 minutes, for hours, whether into the evening or early in the morning. I contacted the property and suggested they put the felt adhesive pads on the bottom of the chairs as an easy fix.

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. We loved our room and the space it provided. Our check in was easy, we didn’t encounter any staff but we were given easy instructions upon our arrival. The room was nice and came fully equipped with its own little kitchenette. There is a grocery store nearby and a few restaurants. The city is not too far away if you’re up for a little walk. One big plus about this property is that there is laundry. We recommend this stay if you are considering. Great for partners and families. Thank you Bolholt for the great stay!

The place has a slight feeling of student accommodation but our corner room was clean and bright, with a good quality mattress on the bed. The shower was strong and hot - a real pleasure. We just about managed to cook pasta in the kitchen though it needs a large serving spoon, a second saucepan and a colander - very nearly scalded myself draining the water. On the whole, it provided what we needed at a decent price compared to hotels closer to the city centre. Free parking was very welcome.

Functional kitchen, clean, washing and drying machine are 1100isk each time for small load. Drying clothes only 20min so not too dry at the end, but you can put the clothes around the apartment for the rest of the night and will dry the next day. Beds are comfortable .

Great location. Just right for 3 guys on a golfing trip. The only downside was the room was too warm. The heat was of, the windows open and outside temps in the mid teens. Local staff were helpful and facilitated an early check in.

Clean room but not exactly like the pictures indicated. The floor was warped. Small shower. The kitchen faucet was being held together by nails. And the hallway and room had smoke smell to it. The location is a little further away from the city so it’s quiet.

Vladimir was excellent with answering my questions before and during our stay. Our group of six, four adults and two teenagers, were very comfortable in our studio apartment. The pull out couch sleeps two adults very comfortably. I had an issue with the one dryer charging me an extra time in order for it to work. After reaching out to Vladimir, I was given the contact info for requesting a refund for the extra charge and it was taken care of immediately. If you are a spoiled American like me and prefer AC, bring a portable fan. It was not just here, but every place that we stayed was on the warmer side. Also, bring your own washcloths if you need them. That is also something that all of the places we stayed had in common. If I get to return to Iceland like I hope to in the future, Stay Apartments Bolholt is on my list of places to stay.

On our arrival, the lift was broken. Fifth floor — no fun. There were a couple of minor issues; the hotel responded right away and fixed everything. The room was clean and spacious, beds comfortable. A few minor modifications would fully open the space potential, making it more comfortable and welcoming.

The property was clean and you were entitled to fresh towels every other day. In the shower, water leaked considerably into the room itself. It seemed that the slope in the shower was not angled enough to keep more of the water going to the drain. The elevator broke down and although they fixed it within 24 hours, we were in the 5th floor and the stairs were difficult for older people. Then, my travelling companion got stuck in it and had to ring for emergency for help (which was quick in it's response). Parking for overnight could be a challenge. All in all, few were happy with our stay.
