Cosy little property with a beautiful pool area, run by a lovely Rhodian family. The staff were incredibly hospitable and accommodating. Excellent restaurants just a 5-10 minute walk away, very authentic Greek and not overly touristy. 10/10 from this Australian a long way from home!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Dimitra Sun. The owners were very nice and friendly, made us feel like home. The pool area was nice and not crowded. For us the location was perfect too. We rented a car for five days (which was organised by the hotel) so it was easy to do visits to sights around the island. This small family hotel was just what we were looking for.

Good family-run hotel!
Good family-run hotel within walking distance of public transport and several local tavernas and supermarket. Pool with children's pool and sun-beds. Nice breakfast is worth the extra charge. Clean rooms with balcony. AC available at extra charge. Clean beds, sheets and towels. Airport pickup available at extra charge. All in all, a pleasant family vacation at a good price!

We stayed overnight at Dimitra Sun, finding the place was confusing. On Expedia is states Hotel Dimitra Sun, in person it’s called Hotel Dimitra. When arrived the owner didn’t speak the slightest English. When we got to the room air conditioning was an extra charge despite it saying it’s included on Expedia. Getting a taxi is nearly impossible due to the location, instead they have the owners daughter driving you for a price. The outback yard was nice, they had fresh fruit in the courtyard that they used in the mornings, it was a clean hotel overall.

No towels or toiletries in the room. No one at the reception. We had to wait more than half hour for check in because the person was sleeping inside. The room was not cleaned. They asked for extra charges for AC. They asked for taxes which we already paid through expedia. They even called us and yelled us after our check out. Overall it was a very disappointing experience

We had a great stay here. The owner was very kind and attentive to all of our needs. She memorized our breakfast order and would bring it out to us each day (grilled cheese, and salami and cheese sandwich). This was a tremendous display of hospitality. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the cleanliness, the friendliness of the staff, and the way we were able to treat the hotel like a home from home. The gardens were cared for and had a wide variety of lovely plants and flowers to sit amongst. The pool was very clean and relaxing, with ample areas to sit and sun bathe or sit in the shade. The staff were very knowledgeable and happy to give advice about all areas of the island. The breakfast choice was excellent and certainly sufficient to keep you going for most of the day, Maria would always make sure you were catered for.

On a aimé le balcon,la moustiquaire,les volets automatiques,le carrelage neuf,le petit frigo,un coffre,une chambre qui semble récente. On a pas aimé,La piscine complètement vide et comprise dans l'annonce!!(photos,video a l'appui) Le personnel qui mange et dort dans le canapé du hall,donc obligé de passer entre eux et la télévision. Même pas un ventilateur alors qu il fait 30 degré dans un petit espace.(clim 5e/jr) Les aboiements de plusieurs chiens dans le voisinage,a n'importe quelle heure.(donc impossible de dormir fenêtre ouverte). La salle de bain qui parait neuve certe,mais sans rideau,ni séparation et donc eau de partout(wc,lavabo,serviettes)et forcement impossible de laisser ses affaires et donc de s'habiller en toute intimité. Et pour finir,l'emplacement de l'hotel,le quartier n'est pas accueillant.

Abbiamo soggiornato presso questa struttura una settimana. Fin dal primo giorno siamo stati accolti da Elena da gran signori. Per tutti i giorni successivi Elena e la mamma, la signora Maria, si sono sempre preoccupate di metterci a nostro agio e di fornirci tutte le comodità possibili. La struttura è stata da poco ristrutturata, quindi è praticamente come nuova e sempre pulita. La posizione è ottima, perché, anche se un po’ distante dalla spiaggia (circa 4 km) è al centro tra Rodi e Lindos, offrendo così la possibilità di spostarsi da una parte all’altra dell’isola facilmente. Ovviamente consiglio di noleggiare uno scooter o un’auto....ci si può rivolgere direttamente ad Elena!!!

Beautiful authentic guest house run by family.
A fantastic family run guest house run by Mother and daughter. Breakfast is beautiful and plentiful and features fresh produce from the garden. Perfect location for us in an authentic Greek village, so dining out is authentic. We walked to the beach however owner is happy to take and collect you from the beach for a small charge. Caught public bus to go to Rhodes town and bus to Lindos. A wonderful guest house , with beautiful maintained garden I really don’t understand why the price is so cheap, they should be charging double! Can’t wait to return, arrive like strangers return as friends!

Het hotel ligt midden in een woonwijk op loopafstand 500m. van dorp, maar is prachtig gerenoveerd op de hal na. Wij hadden nieuw bed, meubilair, stoffering en badkamer en balkon met zitje. Ijskastje en koffie op de kamer. Perfect schoon en moeder en dochter runnen het hotel en zijn super hartelijk. Heerlijk ontbijten in de patiotuin tussen de bloemen! Je snapt niet hoe ze het vol kunnen houden voor deze prijzen, petje af. Goed zwembad en ligstoelen. Dorpje is authentiek en niet al te veel toeristen in juni. Genoeg eettentjes en barretjes. Vanuit dit hotel kun je alles op Rhodos snel bereiken. Dichtbij in Stegna beach prachtig strand en geweldige vistestaurantjes.

Familiär geführtes Hotel in Archangelos unweit der Hauptstrasse. Strategischer Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der ganzen Insel. Von hier aus kommt man mit einem Mietwagen in max. 1h fast überall hin. Einfache aber sehr saubere Zimmer mit Balkon. Zimmer sind nicht besonders groß aber beinhalten einen Kühlschrank, TV, zwei bequeme Betten und ein bisschen Stauraum. Wie von anderen beschrieben, einfaches aber voll funktionsfähiges Bad mit offener Dusche (unseres hatte sogar ein Fenster nach außen). Schöner gefliester Balkon mit Tisch und zwei Stühlen zum Abends außen sitzen und um die Strandtücher o.ä. zu tocknen. Ein weiteres Plus sind die wie ein Rollo ausfahrbaren Fliegengitter um abends die Türe offen zu lassen. Eine gut einstellbare Klimaanlage ist gegen gesonderte Gebühr verfügbar. Bei Zimmern Richtung Garten wird man vermutlich die Klimanlage mit buchen müssen, da die Hauptstrasse bei geöffneter Tür nachts zu laut ist. Leider konnten wir trotz der angenehmen Nachttemperaturen im September nicht mit offener Balkontüre schlafen. Das Frühstück wird im Garten eingenommen und loht sich auf jeden Fall, es gibt Kaffee, Tee, lokales Brot, Marmelade, Käse und Wurst, auch Früchte, Yoghurt, Honig und ab un zu auch mal Ei, Omelette oder selbst Gebackenes.. Es reicht für einen guten Start in den Tag aus. Außerdem wird man von der Chefin Maria und Tochter Elena morgens sehr freundlich empfangen und sie helfen bei allen Fragen. Tatsächlich wie beschrieben, als würde man zur Familie gehören!

Ruhig gelegenes Hotel im angenehmen Städtchens Archangelos. Nette Besitzer, individuell zubereitetes gutes Frühstück, schöner Garten, Zimmer sehr sauber, großer Balkon. Besonders für Individualreisende zu empfehlen.

Todella kiva perheen omistama hotelli aidossa kreikkalaisessa pikkukaupungissa. Ei paljon turisteja. Eleni ja hänen perheensä pitävät tätä suurella sydämellä. Maukas aamiainen, siistit huoneet ja kiva uima-allas. Huoneissa parveke tai terassi. Rauhallinen, mutta kaupunki ja ravintolat ja marketit kävelymatkan päässä (n. 800m). Auton voi vuokrata hotellilta, jolloin esim. aivan upea Stegnan uimaranta on lähellä (n. 4,5km). Myös lentokenttäkuljelus hoituu. Erittäin ystävällinen perhe, tuntuu kuin olisit osa perhettä. Olimme lomalla 10 päivää teini-ikäisten tyttäriemme kanssa ja me kaikki viihdyimme oikein hyvin. Todella suositteltava paikka! A really nice hotel owned by a family in a real Greek small town. Not too many tourists. Eleni and his family keep this lowely small hotel with their heart. Tasty breakfast, clean rooms and a nice pool. Rooms have a balcony or terrace. Peaceful, but restaurants and markets within walking distance (about 800m). You can rent a car from the hotel and go, for example, the very stunning beach of Stegna (approx. 4.5 km). There are also the airport transportation from a hotel. Very friendly family, it feels like you are part of a family.We where here 10 days with our teenage daughters and we all really enjoyed our stay. Really highly recommended place!

Familiäres Hotel in ruhiger Lage
Alles in allem ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel für Individualreisende welche die ursprünglich Griechische Lebensart, eine ruhige Lage abseits der Touristenströme und ein einfaches aber sehr schönes Hotel bevorzugen. Die Zimmer sind für ein 2-Sterne Hotel wirklich angemessen und vor allem richtig sauber (Der Roomservice in Person von Gulla macht das hervorragend), die Gastgeber sher freundlich und immer hilfsbereit, das Frühstück in einer Gartenlaube ein guter Start in einen neuen Tag, Pool und Garten laden zum Entspannen ein. Da das Meer ca. 2 bis 3 km entfernt ist geht ohne Mietwagen natürlich fast gar nichts, lediglich einige nette Restaurants in der Alststadt (z.B. das unscheinbare Aftenika mit tollem Essen) sind gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Das kleine Hotel mit familiärer Atmosphäre ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für die ganze Insel, alle touristischen Highlights, Sehenswürdigkeiten und wunderschlne Strände sind in rund einer halben Stunde mit dem Auto (oder Roller) zu erreichen. Mehr als deutlich zufrieden mit der Hotelauswahl, wäre da nicht die erste Nacht in einem Ausweichhotel notwendig gewesen, das das Dimitra Sun offensichtlich ab und an überbucht wird.

Siamo stati in questo hotel per 10 giorni.. L'hotel è comodo per raggiungere molte spiagge vicine (Con scooter o macchina, assolutamente non a piedi!) ma non ottimo dal punto di vista della modernità.. Le stanze sono vecchie, la porta molto rumorosa quando viene chiusa e il bagno molto piccolo e non dotato di tenda per la doccia.. La piscina è carina ma noi non l'abbiamo mai utilizzata.. Disponibile colazione e aria condizionata a pagamento, di cui noi non abbiamo usufruito. In definitiva va bene se si vuole utilizzare come luogo per dormire senza tante pretese per il confort..

Posizione Strategica
L'hotel si trova in una posizione strategica in quanto è situato a metà strada tra le due principali città dell'isola, vale a dire Rodi e Lindos. Poi inoltre facilmente arrivare a tutte le principali spiagge. Hotel confortevole, personale squisito è molto educato, ottimo come rapporto qualità prezzo, unico neo letto un po' piccolo ma credo che quello sia lo standar della Grecia. Consigliatissimo

Hotel in una buona posizione per chi intende girare l'isola con scooter o macchina, possibilità di noleggiare i mezzi in modo semplice e veloce tramite la figlia del proprietario. staff estremamente servizievole e cordiale, disponibili per qualsiasi richiesta. L'hotel con giardino stupendo e curato. l'hotel dispone di una grande piscina. ottima vacanza.

hotel consigliato!
Hotel ristrutturato di recente, arredamento semplice, pulito, con parcheggio, cassaforte e wi-fi gratuiti, aria condizionata e colazione da pagare a parte. Possibilità contattando la struttura e pagando di avere il trasporto da e per l'aeroporto ad un prezzo minore rispetto ai taxi. Ottima posizione per visitare l'isola, ma serve un mezzo per spostarsi perchè è un pò isolato e le spiagge sono a qualche chilometro di distanza. I titolari, Giorgio, Maria e le figlie Elena e Dimitra (che parlano italiano) sono persone molto gentili e disponibili. Dimitra è titolare di un "rent car" dove si può noleggiare una macchina o uno scooter. L'hotel è dotato di una piscina tranquilla e immersa nel verde molto rilassante. Ci siamo trovati molto bene. Lo consigliamo!
