Excellent touch! Some nice walks nearby weather your a novice or a professional hiker something for everyone! Will definitely stay again! “A happy stay for both us and the dog. Clean and comfortable with all you need. Plenty of hot water and the heating was excellent when needed, the log burner completed the package. Just a little tight on space either side of the bed but not unusual in an older one level cottage. Secure garden for a dog unless it decides to explore the stream at the end of the garden. Ours didn't just enjoyed sitting in the sun with us. Nice to have a view too! ”

“Great in terms of numbers of rooms and arrangement of beds, great sized kitchen and lounge for a big group, nice outdoor space. Pet friendly and back garden could be secured which was perfect for our dog. Really enjoyed family card games at the giant kitchen table. Perfect location for lots of snowden paths, copper mines, nice little village for amazing ice cream and a decent pizza nearby. Parking on the drive a little steep so anticipate a scrape to front bumpers reversing in. Parking in...

“Lovely property in stunning location with lovely touches-Prosecco, cake, “emergency meal”, etc My only problem was in terms of getting information about access/key. I think this was because I booked through Hotels.com and the property is principally let through Sykes Cottages so I don’t think anyone would have sent me access information if I hadn’t badgered! Once I got the information it was very straightforward.”
