We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting São Miguel.
The location is wonderful. We had a little trouble finding the property at first, but once we knew where it was, it turned out to be the perfect base for exploring the island. Having a dedicated parking space for our rental car was a huge advantage, as we found that a car is almost essential for getting around the Azores.
The property is surrounded by a large, beautifully maintained garden, making it feel like a peaceful little world of its own. It was a lovely place to relax after a day of exploring.
All of the staff were incredibly kind and welcoming. We would especially like to mention the kitchen lady, who prepared fresh breakfast every morning according to our wishes. She was exceptionally warm, friendly, and genuinely made our mornings brighter. Her kindness really stood out and deserves special recognition.
The breakfast itself was delicious, with a generous selection and everything you could wish for to start the day.
The rooms were a little on the smaller side, but they were well equipped and had everything we needed. A bit more storage space would have made the stay even more comfortable, but this was only a minor point.
The hostess was also wonderful—always helpful, quick to respond, and consistently friendly whenever we needed anything.
Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.
