"Breakfast was absolutely fine, not massive choice but really nice. Room was spacious and very clean ! Carpark was really tight but reasonably priced per night. Staff in the hotel were so helpful and very friendly. Had a fantastic stay!"
"Zamora Palacio del Duero is a large hotel situated near the river and convenient for the Old Town.
The hotel has its own underground car park which is small and pretty tight, and I had to do quite a lot of manoeuvring to get my Audi Q5 in and out. Main public car parks weren’t obvious and, on a Sunday afternoon, every street and small parking area in the vicinity of the hotel was full. No doubt on other days parking might be easier.
Check in was welcoming and our Premium room is spacious, very nicely furnished and comfortable. It also comes with a large and luxurious en-suite bathroom and a nice terrace. In short, it’s the sort of room that makes you wish you were here for more than one day.
Breakfast here is top class with an excellent buffet selection of fresh fruits, cold meats and cheeses, tapas and innovative dips and spreads. And although the buffet includes scrambled eggs and bacon, you can also order freshly cooked eggs, bacon and sausage.
Service throughout has also been excellent and this is a top class hotel in all respects."
"
A quietly brilliant stay. The welcome was warm without the fuss, the beds were the sink-into-oblivion kind, and the shower actually understood the assignment. Breakfast — light, thoughtful, and included in the room rate — felt like a small act of generosity rather than an upsell. I even left with a pot of local bee pollen from the lounge, because restraint is overrated. Parking was easy, the internet behaved itself, and there’s a supermarket a couple of minutes away for any last-minute cravings. Calm, considered, and doing exactly what it should — beautifully. "
