Clean room. Staff was amazing and friendly! Breakfast was delicious. The place is super relaxing. Pool is bra. Rooms are SQUEAKY CLEAN and spacious! Would absolutely come back!

Room was really spacious, beautiful, and clean. Staff was the nicest. Only complaint is that if you stay here too early in the season, the restaurant and bars will not be open. Otherwise super nice place.

Great peaceful location. Definitely countryside feel. They offer breakfast for a small charge and walkable to a small restaurant and small shopping center. Best if you had a vehicle as there is no taxi service near. You have to work with the hotel to coordinate a car service.

We stayed 2 nights and loved it! We have a 2 bedroom , 2 bath apartment and it was so spacious. We enjoyed the kind staff and the breakfast had a lot of choices. It was great

A lovely villa!

A great suite. Reception can help with taxis to and from the local train station. Fast trains to Firenze / Florence. Restaurant only open for breakfast during the low season, so dinner is a bit of a mission: Reception helped with ordering pizza 🍕

The check in went great and the property is amazingly managed, a beautiful villa in the hills of Tuscany. It felt magic just walking to it, I would absolutely recommend renting a car if you want to go into Florence often.

Our family of five enjoyed our time at the property very much. The rooms were comfortable and the surrounding area is beautiful. The pool is a huge plus to cool down and have a relaxing time. The Rignano train station nearby makes it easy to get around Italy, by connecting to Florence’s main station. Truly an asset. The A1 highway is also nearby connecting you within easy access to beautiful Tuscany. Restaurants in the area were very good also. I would definitely stay again at Vila Il Palagio.

Property was in the country side of Italy. If you come make sure you bring mosquito spray. They bite a lot. Pool area was very nice except sides were covered with BEEs. Rooms were ok… covered with tiny ants. Breakfast was good and had a variety. Came with my family of 4.

Left hotel after 2 nights and went to Florence. Very noisy and couldn’t sleep as 1st night had so many noisy animals outside and 2nd night, noisy animals and a party. When we arrived there was no-one there to welcome us, restaurant is only open for breakfast and getting a taxi is a nightmare.

Short stay enroute to Rome

Excellent location if you are with your car. Restaurants are about 10 mins from the hotel. We were in a big apartment with two bedrooms. Apartments do need some tlc. They are old and here and there breaking. Bring your own coffee and teas for the room as they don't provide any. Breakfast was poor and unhygienic. Overall ok for a 1 night stay but super overpriced for what you get.

Place stinks of cigarettes and mold. Furniture and pretty much everything the whole room needs to be trashed Totally disgusting black mould all over the ceiling and walls in the bathroom.

Really liked this property but the challenge was the poor air conditioning. With temperature in mid 30s having rooms over 28 weren’t great. The staff were very helpful and friendly but this did limit our enjoyment

Property and rooms look nothing like the pictures. It is un-kept. When we arrived there was mold in the showers (even in the second room they gave us), the curtains had stains, the lamps had rust on them, landscaping is untrimmed and not neat like the pictures, the pool is not kept like the pictures show, pool house was always closed. There is no where to walk to or anything to do in the surrounding area you need a car to get around freely. Wish we skipped this part of the trip.
