Good hotel in Lapa within walking distance to many bars and restaurants, AC is very noisy, bed is comfortable, breakfast is average. It is a good option if you want to save some money in hotel.

The place is great value, beautiful studio with an amazing top roof pool. Great customer service. The area around is not the nicest if you walk but it’s close to the famous stairs and lots of transportation. Overall excellent.

The hotel is located in one of the oldest area of Rio, close to the Lapa Arch. It’s surrounded by bar clubs and restaurants. It seems that the entire area is opened 24hrs. The building of the hotel is probably old but it’s been renovated, especially the bathroom. The breakfast is very good, lots of fruits, breads, juices, cakes. I am not sure if it’s because of Carnival since the hotel is crowded with tourists, but I enjoyed every minute of it, especially pao de queijo (cheese ball)

The staff are courteous and helpful, however the hotel's physical condition is poor - it does not match promotional photos. Dingy room paint and bathrooms needing renovation contribute to an unkempt aesthetic. More pressingly, ineffective cleaning causes strange odors property-wide. Finally, noisy outdated air conditioners fail to properly cool rooms. The one bright spot is the decent pool area. Significant facility updates would better align reality to marketing for this hotel.

Very old and tired hotel

Stayed here for 4 nights. I wasn't comfortable at all. 1. Room is very dark, lights need replacing to brighten up the room. 2. Towels were horrible. Very tatty and scratchy, even have holes. They looked like they were once white now greyish and just disgusting. 3. Pillows were horrible, lumpy. I can only dseceibe it as when you wash a duvet and they end up the insides clumpy. 4. Broken facilities like hairdrier (even after changing, just didnt work), light bulbs. The curtains look really dirty. 5.bed uncomfortable. Good points: 1. Staff were cordial 2. Breakfast: fresh fruits! And the pizza for breakfast was very good. Freshly made!

Quando chegamos encontramos o quarto limpo, porem o box do banheiro com uma mistura de ferrugem e bolor. Comecei a jogar agua pq a sujeira estava toda no chão, o que fez a água se espalhar toda pelo banheiro - pq o box estava com vazamento. A primeira impressão foi péssima. No segundo dia, após a limpeza n deixaram mais sujeira no chão, mas o ferrugem e bolor permaneceram. O hotel é bom e a limpeza é ok, mas a manutenção deixou demais a desejar.

Eu visitei a cidade RJ 08/09 ate dia 11/09 fiquei nesse hotel que acabei gostando bastante pois estava ao lado de alguns pontos turísticos, o Hotel tem uma estrutura boa, mas deixa a desejar o serviço de quarto. Pedi o serviço nem foi pq estava bagunçado pois deixamos organizado, mas por conta de higiene mesmo do banheiro, unica coisa que fizeram foi tirar lixos e colocar toalhas. Achei o banheiro com limo em algumas partes, a agua do chuveiro muito boa e forte, ar condicionado faz barulhos, mas quem costuma ter sono pesado nem escuta, ficamos em um quarto com cheiro muito forte de cigarro, não fumamos e tem placas avisando que nao pode fumar, mas o cheiro assim que abria a porta subia o fedor. O Cafe da manhã é bom tem variedades. Estacionamento é terceirizado mas com valor acessível para deixar seu carro. Referente a piscina deixa a desejar a limpeza e cuidado, fomos entrar e estava suja com limos bichos como moscas e outros insetos e folhas tambem. Nao fiquei muito tempo com medo de pegar alguma infecção pelas sujeiras da água... Mas em tudo gostamos bastante e indico para quem quer estar perto dos pontos turísticos e me senti segura, pois nao tive nenhum problema na cidade e ao redor.
