"Outstanding room, gorgeous furniture and decor, bed had a deep uncomfortable hole at least 18” wide near my knees, no personal contact at check-in, no ice, constant running toilet, nearly slipped off very loose toilet seat, no knob on closet door. Doesn’t want phone calls after 8pm. Unit next door was annoying with window A/C running full blast all night in 30° weather. Limited and inconvenient parking. Seems like it should’ve been perfect, but it wasn’t, especially in low season and this was supposed to be THE splurge of our 30-day bucket list trip. ☹️"

"The location was absolutely perfect! We stayed for a weekend to hike some high peaks and enjoy Lake Placid. The Devlin was the perfect stay for us and our pup. The breakfast options and coffee were fantastic and just what we needed! We will definitely stay again. It did get a little noisy at night from the restaurant/bar/bowling alley next door but otherwise it was everything we needed and more."
