โThere brook in the background is great. This place is an old style, but weโre ok with it.
This is our second stay.
The staff is very nice and does everything to help you.
Right off the road, but quiet. Nearby town for food.
No elevator for second floor. Again, fine for us. No AC, but you donโt usually need it and rooms have fans. The doors are odd, but all work. Let the water run awhile for a hot shower or washing dishes. Good size fridge and stove.
Great access to all things Adirondack. โ
โWonderful place to stay in the Adirondacks for a couple nights. Our room had been fully renovated recently and was great. They are in the process of renovating another section of the lodge currently but this had no impact on our stay. Nice, quiet community close to many of the sights we wanted to see in the Lake Placid area. โ
โBeautiful place - quiet, clean, nice pool, convenient to town but not in the middle of the crowd.
If anything was unusual, it was the breakfast service ... a little like ordering at a fast food restaurant, but with table service - and really good food!โ
โThis was a perfect spot. We enjoyed lounging by the pool and being able to cook. Its about a 10 min walk to downtown Lake Placid and close to restaurants โ
โI was pleasantly surprised at the added touches like cookies in the lobby plus 24 hour coffee and tea and hot cocoa service! Great pool as well. โ
โI loved the rooftop area, just wish you could bring your own food. I loved the location, so close to town! The shower pressure was awful, and the rooms were kind of dim. I like the size of the room. โ
โExcellent property in a great location near Lake Placid village. Facilities were well kept and was quiet. Would recommend putting a water bottle filling station in the Lake House building.โ
