“From the moment that we checked in, Mike and May the owners made us feel at home. They are such friendly and helpful hosts. The cottage was up a flight of steps and Mike carried our cases up for us. Everything anyone could need was there. Spotlessly clean. A very comfortable bed. A sitting out area overlooking their gardens. A very safe and secure area from which we walked just a short distance into the town. Highly recommended. ”

There are several designated walks within the estate for all levels of ability. “Overall we had an excellent stay, however a couple of things. Other guests didn't respect the no noise after 10 PM rule and were quite loud which made it very hard to sleep as obviously in tents like these you hear everything. Also, we were struggling to enter the property when checking in. We were supposed to use the code for the gate received by email, but we weren't able to check our email and we were stuck for half an hour, trying to call the emergency number to no avail.
