“Amazing place to stay super chilled and calming environment, camp was super quite from 10.30 every night everyone was so respectful to other campers, small issue in the toilet fixed straight away by very happy handy man who was also the man who showed us around our teepee which was super cozy and perfect size for a family of 5 children loved the field space for fun activities overall such a lovely place to stay would definitely go back in the future! “I received a free upgrade to one of the Lodges so don't actually know about Davy Cottage. However, the lodge called Owls Nest was lovely. Spacious, well equipped, clean and really comfortable. The view was great. Parking was directly outside. The road is rather pot-holed (not unlike the rest of the country!) and I didn't like the black towels which left lint all over me, but that is really me being finicky! “Our initial impressions were "wow' on walking into a lovely, well maintained, clean and tidy property and it quickly became a 'home from home' A minor problem with the wi-fi was quickly rectified. Wendy & Dave (our hosts) were friendly and helpful. It was only a 10 min walk into town for restaurants etc and there was ample parking on site. We would not hesitate to book again.”
