I was not expecting to stay in a side building made of bedrooms. It did not feel like a hotel at all. Just a bedroom in a building. When l asked why not staying in the small hotel building, the answer was l don’t have a choice or preference.????

Despite emailing on three occasions to request a room suitable for someone with a disability, we were placed in a room that could only be reached using stairs. Despite the fact that these emails did not bounce back we were told that they had not been received. We expected the convenience of a meal at the hotel as promised on the Expedia website. Apparently these have not been available since January.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Garten. Die Zimmer und das Interieur sind sehr ansprechend. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und freundlich, es wurden auch Empfehlungen für ein Abendessen in der Nähe gegeben. Der Parkplatz ist gut zu erreichen. Die Betten sind bequem, alles war sehr sauber. Der Swimmingpool ist einfach zu erreichen und lädt jederzeit zu einem Besuch ein.

Charmant stijlvol hotel met mooi terras. Zeer uitgebreid, lekker ontbijt. Minpunt: kamer was aan de straatkant en het verkeer (tijdens de week) zorgde voor veel lawaai. Het was ook zeer warm op de kamer.

Prachtig oude stijl hotel wat gerenoveerd schijnt te gaan worden. Ik hoop dat er niet teveel van de prachtige oude stijl verloren gaat. Jammer dat de bar in de avond niet geopend is.

De hotelkamer was mooi en netjes ingericht en er was meer dan voldoende ruimte om al onze spullen op te bergen. We misten wel enkele nutsvoorzieningen zoals een waterkoker, verzorgingspakket en er was geen airco. Ook was de matras dringend aan vernieuwing toe want deze was helemaal doorgelegen en zeer oncomfortabel. Het uitzicht was mooi en rustgevend, ook het terras in de tuin was heel leuk.

We will be back

Lovely hotel with nice pool and excellent walking location. Would be even better when the current covid restrictions are lifted as the hotel restaurant looked cosy and there are many other nice looking options within a short walk. The outdoor area would also be nice once the weather warms up.

Charming hotel

The hotel is charming and in a lovely location. Particularly the public spaces were well kept and very cosy. The hotel room was good, however, the jacuzzi bath was not working properly. Moreover the room was very hot (in winter) without the possibility to regulate the temperature downwards. COVID-19 related measures were not implemented strictly (particularly as regards the spa area).

Covid staycation

Vriendelijk ontvangen met een rondleiding. De kamer was proper en het bubbelbad was top. Tijdens de corona hebben we voor take away gegaan en dat was geen probleem je een overvloed aak restaurants in de straat.
